Default Nitrous and colder plugs question

If I am only using my nitrous every once in a while, say, 1-2 pulls a month, are colder heat plugs necessary?

I am worried that running 1 step colder plugs while using the car as a DD will give me idle problems, as some have mentioned.

Basically, will running 1 heat range colder plugs without any spray/mods cause any problems for me?

Read it many times.

So I guess maybe I should rephrase the question....

Will running one step colder plugs give me any problems without any other mods?

You will be fine running them, you will just have to change them more often

Yeah, they will foul more.
One way you might be able to get around it is if your running an EMS like the UTEC and you have a map to run slightly leaner fuel when you're just cruising around.

Thanks again all.

I had read something about the idle being goofy for some after they put in colder plugs. But I guess one heat step is not that huge of a deal.

I guess I will run some NGK's. If they foul, I'll just throw the oem ones back in. They're good for what 105,000 miles...lol
