If you look at the partial UTEC timing map I posted above for a 150HP shot, you don't see anywhere where the timing is the same throughout.
The timing is ranging from 10.5 - 24.5 (Yes, I know this is not the pulled, but actual timing), so 2 degrees isn't going to be enough if you want to be safe on that shot.
Right but we wasnt talking about going that high. Im wondering if the retatrded 2 degrees and 100shot would be beneficial?

According to his first post, he was originally looking at a 150 shot.
The point I was trying to get across is that a 2 degree across the board adjust, on any shot, is not that beneficial. It will help on a 75 to maybe 100 shot, but to really be safe, he'll need another form of engine management like the UTEC that can have variable timing adjusts.
I'm just trying to make it clear that larger nitrous shots can be safe with the right equipment.

I think your car is more than fine now. I would just be scared of going over the 100 shot. Is it starting to feel slow to you or something? haha

Modifying cars shouldn't be about who has a faster car. It should be about what you want out of your car. It's not a competition and shouldn't be. Although, I do have to say that a little competition can't hurt.

All replies appreciated and at this point we all know we are talking about a safe setup for the most part the people contributing to the nitrous threads seem to have pretty safe setups. granted the use of warmer, pressure gauge and tune i wanna know how big of a shot are you guys running on stock internals?
Hiya, new here, im thinking of in the near future getting a 100hp nitrous shot on my vq35de 350z, however am not the most educated on nitrous, i would want to do it the safe way, what supporting mods would i need and how much total am i expecting it to cost me?
