Bottle Location
I know I've got a lot of planning and research to do before buying a kit but A TT kit is out of the question for the near future because of how much it will all cost. So I'm fairly sure nitrous will be my next big step, and I'm curious to know where a typical decent spot would be for lets say a 10 or 15 pound bottle.
Someone suggested placing it in the spare tire area, obviously I'd need to remove the spare and then the trunk mat won be able to fit over it. I'm assuming this will make my trunk look like crap and wouldn't that cause me to hear a lot more noise in the cabin (exhaust, tire noise, rocks, etc)? I'm not out trying to hustle kids with my sleeper or anything like that so I don't really care for a stealthy set up. Besides I go to some shows here and there and I plan on going to a bunch more so I think a nice clean, visible install would be something cool to show.
I have nothing in my hatch, no sub box or audio equipment so I was thinking the idea of placing it under the strut bar would be cool, except it seems that since it has to lay on an angle it won't fit under there. So I guess that just leaves me with in front or behind the strut bar (I'm guessing a 10+ pound won't fit behind there either). Any other suggestions/pics? Thanks a lot.

sorry, bad pic... but just an idea.
what mods do you have to get to 325whp N/A

thats a cool setup, pretty much thats what I had in mind.
btw my mods are injen intakes, injen track exhaust, berk tp's, and the uprev tune. heres my thread about it https://my350z.com/forum/vq35hr/4465...tune-dyno.html

Having the bottle facing to the side like that is a bad idea. The bottle should be facing parallel with the car as much as possible. Here is a picture of my setup:

The reason for this is that the bottle uses a siphon tube to pick up the nitrous. When you are accelerating all of the liquid nitrous will flow to the bottom of the bottle where the tube is. This will allow you to get the most out of your bottle and you won't risk a low nitrous condition when accelerating.
When you have the bottle mounted sideways like suggested your nitrous will all get pushed to the side walls of the tank and will not get picked up at the end of the siphon tube inside the bottle.

Put it in the glove compartment. A 10lb is perfect for it. Here is how I have mine, it is not optimal, but it should still be able to pick up liquid nitrous. I also have a 4500psi kit at home, i think it would fit in there also. As for blow down tube, get the one from dynotune that has braided ss lines.

It would be the same on the driver side. If you have a bose system, just remove the subwoofer, if you don't have a bose system, just remove the subwoofer plate, but both compartments are the same. The glove box would fit on the driver side also, but it just doesn't have the latch to close.

I've seen a couple people add latches to this panel, I'll have to dig those up for more ideas.
One thing I forgot to mention was that on the passenger side, there is a bracket that the glove box screws onto i think, that is not on the driver side, so you essentially have more room to work with on the driver side. I have my bottle on the passenger side and a nazar sub box on the driver side, but it could work either way. Only reason i have it this way is that I would access the nitrous a lot more than I would the sub box.
