think it would add a nice look to the car, plus be alot safer knowing that the correct amount of n2o is getting to each cylinder.

Ask Chris Nelson or speed force racing.

There are very few people who have done direct ports on the 350z, its more hassle than it is worth to the majority. A lot of people get nitrous since its cheap power, so most of us don't have the money to go all out with direct port set ups, and to really make use of it properly, built engines for nitrous.

I agree if someone only wants to run a 75 shot or less. However, DP does allow us to run a much larger shot if we decide to do so. We ran a 150 shot on the car a few years back. This set up just adds a bit of flexibility.

We are hoping to have a good season this year Our Z sat all of last year because I got occupied with modding my GT-R. We have a brand new stroker motor (built by Injected Performance) and a few new mods installed in the Z and have a few bugs to work out. I think we are finally ready to get back on the dyno in the next month or so. We didn't change the turbo or trans set up but I am hoping that the car will run high 9's to low low 10's without nitrous. I still get on the site occassionally but haven't posted on here in ages.

I may start a thread on the changes to the Z and my GT-R.

I would not see why you would need to run direct port for anything 150 shot of less on the 350Z. Plenty of people have never had issues running these shots with the proper tuning on just wet kits.

^ He already addressed that. Plus, his set up is nowhere near stock, which is probably what you're basing your assumption/opinion off of.

That's about as close to stock as you can get.

Any decent shop could weld some bungs onto the manifold runners and run the fuel and nitrous lines for you.

Ah, I apologize for my mistake. I thought you were referring to bldrz's post. With that in mind, I agree with you that DP set up isn't necessary on a 150 shot or less for N/A set ups like the OP/woRthy's. There's no doubt that it'll be safer and will allow for a bigger overall shot with a proper tune, though.
