Please tell me where I can go for uprev upload and dyno tuning for 2-3 hrs for $500. I've called R/T tuning and JE Import and they said $900 and $850 respectively. Car has never been tuned to my knowledge. I'll drive to NY to get a tune for $500...saves $350 and it damn sure woundn't cost that much in gas...

Also dummy I just talked to Sean at CIN motorsports and he said flat rate $700 so please tell me again how I'm being spoon fed...looks like your information is wrong mr. you need to do more research...idiot. They are in your signature right. Am I guessing you know more then them about Nitrous? So they are over charging me huh? 2004Black350z = reject with mommy and daddy helping him build his car.
And if I knew all about nitrous I wouldn't BE HERE Dumb @$$! Thanks for telling me something I already know! As a matter of fact, since I know nothing about nitrous..I have family in Asheville and I would be more then happy to come drag ur *** up and down the freeway on they way to see them when I'm done. If you want to put your money where you rabbit @$$ mouf is PM me and we will get it done. I'm not a internet gangsta like you.

Back on topic...I ordered the window switch today and also bought the OEM cruise controls so I can switch maps. Still a few more parts to get but it's coming together. Install won't happen until Jan 3rd when I get back into town but I'll update as parts come in and I order.
Thanks to those with CONSTRUCTIVE input, it's been helpful.

Tuning is generally $150 to set the car on the rollers (guaranteed first hour billing) and 100-150$ every hour thereafter. I am a big proponent of nitrous tuning (regardless of shot) since it will help surface any operational bugs, mapping and wiring errors needing troubleshooting. I mean you want to know for sure the system is working. 75-100 shot you are looking at 8-10 good runs at or above 900psi. Not including 2-3 NA baseline runs.
So....150$+100@3hours (+300)+250-350$ (for UPREV license)...puts you around 750-800. Shops may pad the hours on the quote to hedge against any unforseen issues they may encounter. And there are usually issues to some degree initially.

I was quoted about the same to do a tune for my set up with two maps One for Nitrous and one for everyday driving .....
When would you pull the timing back anything after 100shot or before

From what I've read....a 75 shot you are ok with stock timing. At 100 shot I would pull minimally 2 degrees if not 4. But me personally, I would pull 2 degrees even with a 75 shot just to be safe but that's a matter of personal preference. ZEX says to pull 4 degrees with 100 shot.
General rule, every 25 shot pull a degree of timing. Z's can run ok with stock timing up to a 75 shot.
Most would usually say do some research because the answer is already out there but I hope this gets you in the right direction.

Oh I know that for sure. Can't go over 150 shot on stock internals, have to add shot based on bhp not whp generally. I have looked and searched around. You can even add 1st gear lock out, progressive controlers, purge, dyno tune even make a mini 2 stage controler can can bring on different amounts depending on rpm range, ect. I've looked around and I don't want anyone thinking I haven't.
I'm giong to have the switch set from 3500 to 7000. want the extra 500 for shifting purposes...don't want to bounce off of the rev limiter...can cause serious issues.
From what I've seen it's activated via a physical swtich not an electronic switch.

Dyno tune progressive ROCKS!!! It is by far the best 200$ I have spent in terms of usability...and I had an APEXI Avc-r when I was boost, this thing is WAY better..
you can make it so your spraying 10whp at 2k rpm and ramp it to 100% over 5 seconds to keep it safe and hold traction etc etc
Another progessive to consider is the NOS Mini 2-stage. Similar to Dynotune's and full of feature. Keep in mind that "ramping" causes the solenoid to purposely sputter the spray in, and longer ramp times technically add more duty cycle on the plungers\O-rings and such. This potentially shortens the solenoid life requiring a refresh. As ZEX solenoids are fused into the NMU....I am not sure if those can be rebuilt (might want to ask their tech).

Yes but the Dynotune has Progressive, Window Switch, and WOT all built into one, also gear lockout, ramp resume ETC ETC its a much better unit for the price!
And yes progressive controlling do indeed SPUTTER a solenoid but I would much rather wear the life down on a warrantied solenoid than blow a motor :P

I know the NOS PC is not compatible with the ZEX NMU because the solenoids are build into the unit, at least that based on Dynotune's website. As far as the NMU being rebuildable that is a good question.

Big ups to B-Mackin! Just picked up some used V1 ART's from him to go along with the ZEX kit. Last piece that's need the remote bottle opener, some jets for 150 and time to install. Gonna get the jets first for I need power over convenience at this time lol
My buddy told me he's been lurking the forms seeing what I've been up to. He added CAI and tune to his Boss so we will see what happens.

Picked up the kit last night from the shop. Open it this morning when I finally got time to check it out...it's universal kit for a V6 single intake...they charged me $750 and the kit online cost $576.95.
Needless to say I'll never be going back to JE Import. The kit sat at their shop for over two and a half weeks and no one bothered to check to make sure it was the right one.
Time to go direct port like I wanted to since I have to wait now. I am PISSED!!!! I had to tell these dude to add plugs, explain what a lean shut down switch is.
I am off work the rest of the week and was going to install it then but now I'm not sure. I'll keep things updated.

No tires yet but will be getting Nitto's once tax returns hit! I've always ran them on my street/drag cars and love them. I haven't done any research because I'm not that far yet but that's what I have in my head. Research might point me in another direction.

LOL, so I was right.
$2500 sounds like a lot for what you're getting, imo. Plus, I'm not sure why you're skipping on things like a pressure gauge and bottle heater but spending money on a tune. Sounds like those guys don't know what they're doing either.
If I were you, I'd go back to square one. Do more research on what a bare minimum kit should look like so you can spray properly, then you can start thinking about installing and tuning.
