OP...I mean no offense, however it seems that you are somewhat hellbent to part with your money quickly in order to slap an N2O system in. My opinion only, is that you should talk to kit providers, ask a billion questions. Read up on some other nitrous-centric sites to learn more (LS1TECH, yellowbullet, etc.). Next use excel and create a build-list with item cost (will keep you on budget). Buy parts new from one provider where possible instead of mix-n-match frankenstein setups, as integrating everything will be easier. Sketch out your layout, take measurements for hose lengths, antcipate fittings needed. I used the 350z pics on <daytona-sensors.com> site for inspiration.

Then go spend your hard earned bucks. FYI direct-port is a custom setup. You can't just go buy a solution, and will cost you much more if you are paying labor. Stick with the dual-fogger, start with 75shot, successfully install yourself, get some seat time with your system....then worry about upping jets and parts.

lol yes sir you were correct! Time to go back to the original idea and hit up the direct port direction I originally wanted to go.

Spoke with Hills Garage, told them where I'm at and we are supposed to come up with a plan. Been speaking with dyno tune and putting together rest of the pieces needed for the direct port.

JE gave me my money back so I can't complain too much...just wasted my damn time! Now it forcing me to wait. ART's arrive monday and go on Thursday.

Hopefully I hear from Hill's before then because I'm looking to get this project moving! It's coming together and I'll let ya'll know what the shop and I come up with. $2,500 budget is out the window and has been opened up now that I'm waiting. My dad always says to me paitence is a virtute...hate that SH@T!!!

But from every bad comes a good and it just means more time to do something a little more better and efficient.

Mad Props to Hills Garage! They are light years better then JE Import as it comes to customer service, explaining what's needed, what can go wrong, ect. Highly recomend them! Called them yesterday and gave a deposit.

Came up with a Direct Port kit from Dyno tune. Going to use 2 10lb bottles mounted behind the seat in front of the cross bar and throw some gym bags over them. Pressure gauge, bottle warmers, lean shut off switch, window switch, plugs, steering wheel switches, purge kit and tune. Just have to get the correct dash to display the correct cruise lights but that's not crucial at this time.

ART's went on last night and sound amazing! Had a bung welded in for the stand alone O2 for a/f. Will upload some vids to my youtube account later for it's raining right now.

With 2x 10lb bottles your just adding unnessesary weight, each would weigh 25lbs completely filled and should last about 10 pulls each if running 100 shot.

You know I asked myself the same question but told myself it will really look cool or intimidating when I take the bags off and have two nice sized bottles sitting there. I'm going with 150 shot so it I will drink up some nitrous pretty quickly.

I do some shows and Z meets with my local club so I do want a little something to show off Not spending the money to keep it all hidden...gotta pop some eyes out!

Don't like nitrous personally, would rather go turbo or SC so the extra oomph is always available. Hill's is awesome though, they go out their way to fix things that weren't even mentioned. Good luck.

I see what your saying lol, that's cool. I have two bottles in mine but don't have a bracket to hold them in they're just sitting behind the passenger seat. Have you looked into a nano kit? That's what I run: no heater, no nitrous psi gauge, no problem not exactly symmetrical but would have a function!

I did look at the Nano kit and the concept is pretty good, just would be too many bottles for me. Maybe next year I'll upgrade the system and add this to it to get rid of the warmers and pressure gauge.

I'll really have to think about it but next year this time I want to get into the internals a little so it can handle a little more nitrous.

I spent over 3K for my G to do it right . I am also using 2 Nano bottles for my 2 10lb NX Twins. I am also using Meth as well .. Actually , over 4K . I also did the install and all the wiring myself . I was really intimidated by the job but I did it and saved a "Ton" of money . Tore everything out and did it the right way . Gauges , Switches , Bottle Openers , Warmers , and Etc... When done right Nitrous can not be beat . Good luck !!

Yeah man I'm at 2k now with out the install. I have pretty much everything you did as far as less Nano, Meth and bottle openers but I added steering wheel switches for map switching. After it's all said and done including install and tune I'll be about $3,500 - $3,700 in for direct port all the bells and whistles.

Little off topic but what clutch did you go with? That's next on the list for sure. I am really looking at southbend dxd stage 3 drag clutch with flywheel and their ss clutch line and HD CSC. I'll be doing some drag racing and just wanna know if you upgraded your clutch.

Funny you ask...I spoke with Mrs. Hill and she said the rest of the parts from dyno tune should be in no later then wed. I'll be dropping off just before valentines day for I still have a few parts to get on my end and traveling to do. Still have to get pressure gauge, need lc-1 cable and 02 sensor to match up with the lean shut down switch and dyno tune switch center. Should have them by vday and the money for the install.

I see you are in Owings Mills also...that's actually where I live.

I used to live in Owing Mills now Gwynn Oaks. Do you have a bottle heater? I'm selling my DT warmer if your interested.

Need to get my N2O retuned in a couple weeks for my LTHs. Car put down 307 N/A on hills dyno.

Down to test it out at the track in March?

Hell yeah man! I'll bring my buddy with the Boss too. Which one you go to? I ususally head to Capitol and maybe 75-80.

I have a bottle heater honestly. I did buy one used so if that one doesn't work like I need it to then I might take you up on that if it's still avaliable. LTH's eh? I wanna hear how THAT sounds!

I will still have it if you want it. I usually go to Cecil and Capitol only if I can get there when they open.

Fastest on spray so far is 12.3@114 with a weak 2.0 60ft on slicks. Getting a high stall in a few weeks to get out of the hole since I'm auto.

I should have it installed by March.

Got an e-mail a few days ago from Hill's Garage. Last box of parts are in! Just got off the phone with them and set a drop off date of Feb 20th for I have some traveling to do. Gotta get through Valentine's Day and see how much wifey costs me also !

When I called Mrs. Hill picked up and she was on the way to a drs appt for she 8-9 mos pregnant. She still took the time to answer my call and schedule my drop off. Can't say enough about the outstanding communication and customer service I've received from Hill's Garage!

Look for some updates and pics around the 20th...one step closer to getting my dignity back! lol
