Purge solenoid mounted in with abs and master cylinder.
The nitrous and fuel lines that came with kit where to short so I put in 36” lines in stead of 24”. The longer lines created a short delay before nitrous kicked in. So I ended up installing
15” lines and a new intake tube 2” from the tb. Now the nitrous hits instantly under wot. The purge tube was way short so I bought one from a local speed shop that was flexible copper and ran it to drivers side windshield so I can see it purge.

More pics to come...

Nice pics so far D. Auto here as well. You got a transgo shift kit or valve body upgrade? If not, do it, do it now!

I have been thinking of adding that. I’m not experienced enough to install myself. Thanks for the tip.

I also added the Zex nitrous fill gauge in cubbyhole. Well worth it.

Default Nitrous install

Over all I’m glade I did the install myself. A local shop wanted 600 to 800 bucks to install. If you want to have it installed quick then pay someone else to do it.
It took me 2 months to do it because I only worked on it a few hours on the weekend
It was well worth the wait. You can’t put a price on self gratification on a job well done yourself. I was nervous but excited for the first time I hammered it to the floor. I’m currently running a 65 shot. Still not enough but fun. As soon as I hit 75 shot I will think about a tune. I’m still not feeling the full punch of the nitrous because I can’t get the bottle pressure up to 950 even with a heater. It’s still a little cool here in Florida but warming up fast.
Oh, just one more tip, if you have traction control make sure you turn off when spraying.
If anyone out there is thinking of nitrous on a stock motor don’t hesitate just be safe and take your time! Remember nitrous does not kill motors People do!

Any questions feel free to ask.

Good job D. You might want to consider the nano & ditching the blanket. That's what I've got planned. N2O can kill your auto trans quick so as you up the power, ya might wanna set that window switch up properly if you haven't already.

Anyone running nitrous with a NWP 75 mm throttle body with wot switch? I searched lots of threads and found nothing. I’m currently running Zex nitrous with stock tb. I’m thinking of
Purchasing the NWP tb. I would image I would have reprogram the new tb with the nwu.
Any takers on this?

Going with nano can be pretty annoying, especially if you go with their 4500psi kit. Blanket is much more convenient.

I am using a maxima 75mm tb, no problems I see

Dhoffman, how do you have your bottle blanket wired up? Do you have the power going directly from the battery? Is the psi/temp setting set correct? There should be no reason you can't get it up to 950 psi.

They don't make the 4500 anymore, just the 3000.
What annoyed you about the Nano?

It was difficult to find a place that could fill up to 4500 psi, thats why I got rid of it.

Ah. Is that your only gripe then?
Everything I thought I knew about it lead me to believe it's better than a blanket in near every way, except cost. Don't have one yet so I speak only from research and talking to the new owner of Nano, but this is an important part of my would-be setup.

Finding a place to fill it was difficult. And I compiled the list of locations for the old owner, was looking for the thread on ls1tech, but couldn't find it. Also, it is susceptible to heat. Sometimes keeping it simple is the better way to go.
