I've attached a picture of where my purge valve is routed. I mounted the purge valve in the brake fluid compartment and faced the Zex purge solenoid towards the firewall. The brass line exits out through the vent holes under the windshield wiper. You can see it in the top fo the picture.

As for what a purge does

From Zex website:

"To be the quickest off the line, your nitrous system must deliver pure liquid nitrous from the first instant. The ZEX Nitrous Purge Kit clears unwanted vapor out of the system to assure rocket-like starts, essential for beating the competition off the line."

keep the spray away from your windshield; it could crack it. pointing straight up from the top of the hood was where i had it on my si.

Just wondering, what shot are you running? How is it when the nitrous is on?

We installed one at our shop on Edubbz Z spraying right through the front emblem. Drilled a small hole under the nissan logo and used brake line and a rubber grommet. Looks like a tiny camera but is sick when he purges!!! I will try to find pics...

I am shooting mine out of the Infiniti Emblem. Right out the front nose. "Dragon style". =).

(G35 Coupe here). I am using the Zex Purge Light. I used a dremel and it fits perfect behind the emblem with the light. In the dark it looks very sick. The HD light is blue. I will post some pics soon.
