Bad luck, definitely! Worse thing is I told them the rear end was whining real bad when I first bought the truck and they told me it was normal. Obviously it's not because it's grinding now. But yeah, I have terrible luck.

 

Sorry to hear about the SS trouble Mike. Wonder if the gear/pumpkin trouble could be causing the twitchy reactions in the bad weather. Rear end whine is NEVER normal. Guys who set up gears and tell you that are lyin' through their teeth. I've heard the "steep gear sets just whine" too. BS. Cheap gearsets and bad setups whine. I had 4.56s in my last Mustang that were set up by an ex Roush guy. Not a single noise outta those ever and no break-in either.

Yeah I had a couple dangerous incidents on the freeway the other day. I'm thinking I'm going to take it in tomorrow. My fear is i'm going to have the same dreaded "Could not duplicate" answer. It mainly does it when it has sat for a while. Not always. Not very consistent, but when it does, it's loud as hell.

Thanks for the invite Aj, I actually have to work till 10pm. I have family in town until Saturday, so i'm kinda obligated to them this week. Which means, the truck didn't go in this morning like I was planning. I'm so damn exhausted from this week, plus the heat is just nasty!

On the upside, I FINALLY got my Nikon D40x camera! Now time to learn how to use the damn thing..
