It was actually nice to drive a car fast and not hear a loud and obnoxious exhaust note. I enjoyed it. Its really quiet though, but it was something different from what im used to and I liked it.

Not sure, i'm tryin to take some Bass guitar equipment to a place in Novi to sell. If they don't give me enough, i'll be keeping it and it'll be in my damn truck, which means I won't be going. I'll be out near Novi, so I don't wanna drive to Canton to drop that stuff off then drive back out.

 

I would like to show up Wednesday.... I haven't been up there in about a month. Hoping the weather works out.

Well today I stopped and talked to my friend (president) at the nissan dealership. We got to talking and I started asking him about the GTR. He said he was unsure....so he called nissan directly right then and there. He put the phone on speaker so I could hear Nissans response. The guy from nissan said "We do not know yet if it will be 2 or 4 wheel drive, we are pretty sure about the using a TT V6 because of the weight savings and power potential. Although the V8 is still a possibility. The car will be sold as a 2009 Model." He also mentioned the possibility of several models. The most important thing that was said was...

There will only be a total of 1200 made!!

I dont know if that means per year or total. Although I would hope it means per year. Also, the 1200 made is not the amount being shipped to the US. That is the total that will be shipped around the world.

Although none of this is final this is how it is as of right now.

Just thought I would share.

 

Wow....that's really messed up, seriously. Only 1200??? That's not what I call Porsche competition. Mass-market that bad boy!

 

I know it sucks! My chances of getting one just went from good (i thought) to very slim.

We went once whe it was 60% and that was the most fun we had.. (the GTI incident)
If it rains you just go down to the lower level with the roof, no biggy, that is the beauty of the spot.
