Did anyone get a letter from the EPA? I got a letter from them the other day... they want to borrow my Z to do emissions testing.

I recieved a similar letter last year. It wasnt from the EPA but from some third party company that tests nissans.

I didnt let them use my car as a test subject.

They told me that they would have the car for 3 weeks. Give me $150. And change all the fluids.

 

Havent swapped the exhaust yet. I still want to do it I think.

 

Hey guys, what do you think the likelyhood of completing an instal of a single turbo over the winter.

I didnt say I was getting one just exploring my options.

If I didnt have to pay for labor I think I might really lean towards getting an ST.

Anyone going to OU on Wednesday? I may consider headin out but I can't till I get out of work around 10pm. I may skip out on that and go to Milford instead on Thursday? Weather supposed to be hot all week!

 

Now THAT would be a fun project. I've been toying with the idea of getting a SC. I'm sure I could bolt that on in a weekend.

A ST project would be something I would like to work on... we'll have to wait and see what you get for Xmas.

FYI -- I saw in the Marketplace (Group Buy) section of the forum they have a new vendor selling the Turbonetics kit for $4675 shipped! Seems like a decent price for a new setup.

 

Yeah, ive seen that. You can get that from any vendor.
The difference with that kit and the kit for 5400 is that one is the tuner kit and one is the complete kit.

I think I have to call around and see which would be most beneficial.

I have a 350EVO built 3.917 & NISMO LSD complete pumpkin with NISMO finned cover that I would like to swap for a 3.5 VLSD pumpkin. This has been properly broken in doing figure eights (I almost pucked) and has been to about 20 track days. Fluid has been changed regularly, NO GEAR WHINE of course it’s a little noisy in slow turns set at 1.5 lockup but easley changed. I would like your complete pumpkin including stub axles & $1200.00. Price new on this was $2500.00 Come on up to my house and we can swap them out.

 

I would consider it for $800.
