no problem at all... i've had my car up on 4 stands at least 6-8 times now. i'm not lowered either, but i found my ramps still didn't work. so i use a couple of 2x4's to get the front tires up, then stack another set and drive up on those, then there's plenty of room to get the jack under the car. and the 28th sounds perfect - early-ish sounds good in case we run into problems. and, i just may have a garage heater by then too... i just saw a relatively inexpensive propane heater at costco yesterday that will most likely be my christmas gift to myself.

nice system rob! i sold my 360 to my brother... i'm much more of a sony guy than microcrap. i'm so, so stoked for gran turismo to come out (i played forza 2 on the 360 a lot, cturnbull). when i get one, i'll shoot you a PM to get your online user ID.

I am down for working on the 370 over break

I am off from the 22nd through the 12th so let me kow I am down for whatever.

Snows are on the Z and man its a TANK still no major issues so far.
Though I will say those 18's BARELY cleared the front brakes, I was really nervous for a second there.

I do not play Forza I am however waiting for the best driving game ever to come out..
Gran Turismo..That I WILL own the day it comes out. I am on a preregistered list so very excited.

I don't own a Xbox 360, but I played Forza 3 over the weekend on my friend's Xbox...nice. Very clean design. The physics were good, the car damage is a nice feature. Definitely something that GT5P is lacking. I am sure that GT5 will one up Forza 3 when it finally comes out - but for now, Forza 3 is much better than GT5P. That's my .02. I own a PS3, BTW.

you're welcome to stop by on the 28th, AJ - i'd feel much more confident with you there as you know much more about this stuff than i do (although don't fret, lee - i'm quite confident you and i can tackle it if AJ can't make it). i may be getting my dad's salamander, since he doesn't use it at all anymore. i forgot he had one.

i'm still driving my z too - but i'm making daily trips through the car wash to get all the salt and crap off. on medium/heavy snow days, cath and i will just carpool.

Now I just have to hope that the roads are clear enough that I can make it there and back. I'll bring donuts for all! I live by a pretty awesome little donut shop.

What's a Salamander?

I hope I will be back from Knoxville by the 28th. If so, I can bring ramps and tools. Let me know if you need jack stands or anything. I've done a lot of exhaust so I will be prepared.

Lee, if you want the sways on too, we can do that. Just verify first if you need new end links or if the OE's can be reused.

If we are doing HFCs, I am curious if you need defoulers for the O2 sensors. There's still a chance the check engine light will come on. (Just annoying.)

it would be great to have you join us, brian. extra tools would be great...a breaker bar might be needed (i don't have one, but it shouldn't be too bad since his car is relatively new). i have 2 cans of PB Blaster, 4 jack stands, a 3 ton floor jack, and another small floor jack. lots of tools/extensions too.

yes - let's do the sways if we can. that way i can learn.

Good luck guys, sorry I won't be able to make it.

Sadly (ok not really sadly) I'll be in Arizona with my family where it'll be 65 degrees and sunny

Yeah... I've been waiting on the sways because you have take down the exhaust to mount the rear one. The instructions lead me to believe that everything necessary is included...

Alright the 28th...my wife's birthday.....

I will be able to make it, and will bring some of my tools so we can bust it out.
Puttign on the sways will be ALOT easier with the exhaust off so that will be a breeze to do all at once.

HFC's will NOT throw code so there is no foulers needed.

What time, the earlier the better for me, as I will need to be home in the later afternoon/early evening for the wife's B-day.
