Possible future mods - upgrade oil cooler; push or pull fans for cooling; new hood for cooling; maybe water/meth kit for cooling, possibly 18 inch rims/tires, possibly half tub the rear to fit a wider tire in the wheel well.

Autocross Sunday July 16th starting at 10am for registration... ill do my runs between 12 - 1pm... Open to all!
ITS HELD AT OAKLAND UNIVERSITY!!! w00t! My home! This is my turf so I gotta do it big... Z is all done! I'll go get it tomorrow...
I'm busting out the big guns for this event! The track rims w/ V710's all the way around! Pure race rubber and time to watch a 500whp Z own on a BIG course... I know im not as experienced as a lot of the AROC guys... but this car added with those tires... on a big track... I hope to break my best record so far of 11th outta 218 at the ohio vs. det. event!

You crazy kids any your HUGE WHP numbers... dont you all know its not about that its how fast you can actually get those numbers to perform!
Shawn your gonna have a HELL of a time to get that to the ground lol... same with you trent... you guys better get some HUGEEEEE tires before you even think of hitting full boost! You'll end up sideways into some vette next to you

I still dont see any rims + tires on there yet...
and thats what you will need more then any of those!
I cant imagine hitting the clutch on a 600whp car with only 275's on the rear
I mean mine tries to go sideways anywhere between 0 - 75mph with only 500whp and the AT! The manual releasing then hitting boost again is gonna wanna slide around on you quickly!
Becareful both of you!

lol... I've raced three years of SCCA solo II I can adjust damping correctly! But thanks bro!
its the high torque that makes the car wanna pull not the TEINs
plus -2 camber with some toey... Autocrosser not a straight line car
but these guys will need more then just camber + spring rate

Anyway, as far as a straight line, I have the ATS carbon LSD and it has kept me in a straight line under acceleration so far. I also have a camber/toe kit which may or may not be helping but I give the straight line credit to the best LSD. Straight line = yes. Traction if you smash it immediately to the floor = no. It's a process of relearning the car and getting that feeling for how much throttle to push down and when to know to let the peddle hit the floor.
Right now, I am considering 3 things for traction: (1) half tub the car to gain more room on the inside of the wheel well to fit a wider rim and tire - preferrably a 315 to 325, (2) have my volks widened to an 11 inch wheel and add a set of 305's if they fit; (3) drop down to an 18x11 wheel and add a 305street tire or drag radial, if they fit. Other option may come next winter in the form of a widebody

Just got off the phone with the Dealership and the 07's will not hit the line till November now and not hit our shores till late December or even January. That means I have to wait even longer now for my beast to arrive. Good news was the GTR is on schedule and will hit our shores in mid 08.

i have no car. its at the dealership once again because it wont start. i think the bcm is fried....again. another $800 down the drain and no car for about a week.
oh well, im used to it.....here's a pic of it in action at milan. so perty.
we're renting out milan dragway next thrusday. its going to be mainly fords and maybe 2 z's. if anyone is intrested in going let me know. its going to be $35-40 depending on how many people show. you'll be able to get 10+ runs easily without having to hot lap it.
