2010 MI-350Z Track Days
Nice pics Steve. Gingerman is a very odd track, its just not possible to shoot pics except for on the straight away in the front.
I watched one of the videos at Gingerman after the new construction, looks very interesting. Can't wait to try it out. How was your experience around this section?

The brakes worked well.. though I did experience some vibration which I think was due to HPS pad residue still on the rotors.. going to try to clean them up with the race pads before the next track day. Using Hawk DTC-70 in front and PFC-01 in rear.
Howard also pointed out some surface cracking on my front rotor. Guess I'll go with something different than StopTech 1 piece slotted next time.
The new section at Gingerman is nice. My tires were squealing a lot going around it. I didn't experience any loss of control though. Was topping out at about 115 before I had to start braking for the heal-toe shift into the final turn.

Thanks man. Yeah.. Have fun going through all 900 pics that Emily took. lol.
I was going through my videos from the track day and it looks like my good/average lap times were around 1:56 - 1:57. I did have one that didn't look pretty but was around 1:53. It seems like I run faster times after I get passed and work to keep up with the passer

I keep hearing about a Nismo that took a splash in the swamp during the last Porsche PCASEM HPDE at Waterford (when it rained that day)? I heard nothing of it here.. who was it? pics?
Successful BMW track day. Can't call it a HPDE since my instructor only rode with me for 1/2 a session and said 'Doing good'
. Oh well.. I got to pass a GTR.

We all know with equal drivers, a GTR would leave me in the dust.. but I got my opportunity to pass a GTR - so here is the vid..
the old(er) gentleman didn't quite want to let me by either; as you will see.

Nice driving there Steve. I like your special effects in the video
Unless this is another one, this person was there the last time I was at Waterford with PCA. At the time, it was raining and this car and many others were lapping me.

Can't see the vid at work, but if it was the GTR last time was co-driven. The older guy was in the green group (novice) and his son was in the orange group with Deepu
