2010 MI-350Z Track Days
Well ****. I got the car up on ramps and the sway bar seems solid. ;/ I haven't taken off the under tray to actually torque on them but it sure feels good. I know it's the front now because I get the clunking sound when I hit bumps with just the front wheels (low speed parking lot)
Any suggestions?

They would need to be replaced to end the clunk noise - I wouldn't be afraid to track it still though.
Ok... so I finally put a wrench on it (I apparently don't have big enough wrenches...) and was able to tighten the right end of the bar down a tiny bit more. Quick drive around the block and it seems to be ok again, but I didn't find any decent bumps to be sure.

Yeah i figure it was the endlink that was loose. I'm too scrony (?) to tighten it down lol.
Got my car back in the evening. They said everything was fine. Yesterday evening I cleaned the front brake pads and applied anti-squeal again and the squeaking kinda went down. Not sure if that's the reason.
The shop also put my track wheels on, so that's one less headache to deal with
I just have to drive to the track on Thursday.

So, yesterday when I was at the shop was talking to the owner of the shop and he mentioned that he got a 2-post residential lift installed at his home. It cost him 2K, I thought it was not a bad price at all. I always thought they would be much more expensive.
In the future if I am still tracking, I might be interested in getting one of these. Ofcourse I would have to buy a home first
with atleast a 3 car garage to be able to get one installed.

I know you would wait till you get a house, but here are my thoughts.
Personally, I like the ones that tie together on top. In my mind, it's a bit more stable. The overhead safety switch is nice.
Big recommendation: Contact a concrete contractor to look at the garage floor before drilling. Garage pads are not always the best concrete. In some cases, they need to cut out a patch and repour with reinforcement. You don't want a base bolt to pull free while the car is up above you.
I think one of these would be pretty cool:

Deepu get the lift man
My old bud Gary had one and man we would use it all the time.
You will get alot of your money back too...
We used to throw him $20.00 to use it everytime and man it was WORTH IT.
He is in Alabama right now or trust me alot of our "Mod party's" would be at his place.
Also if your going to get a lift get an air compressor and get airtools.
Our next house I am planning on doing that..though we are not moving anytime soon we bought to stay for a while....hahah

Yeah.. I'll show up, but, not sure how much I'll be driving. If there is thunder/lightning I believe they will cancel. I don't think that puts any money back into our pockets though.
Time to look for a poncho.. wonder if I can heal/toe in rubber boots.
Seriously though - any tips for keeping foggy windows in check? I doubt running with the a/c on is good for the engine. lol
