It's great that everyone had such a great time and really felt like they challanged their driving skills. We'll plan some even more exciting roads for the spring. I'm even thinking of a weekend long event where we drive deep into Vermont on Saturday and return on Sunday. We'll see. I *may* be selling the Z, however. I'm on the waiting list for a GTR, but I may just bite the bullet and buy an Audi RS4. Anyway......that's a story for another day, time and place.

Glad you all enjoyed.

If you decide to go to the dark side and get an Audi make sure you get a good extended warrantee. I understand that you will need it somewhere around 30K miles.

Good luck either way

Actually, we've owned two previous Audi's and own one now. Never had serious problems. A few little things here and there but no more than any other car. I was running over 25lbs boost on my old Audi S4 (525lb-ft of gut wrenching torque) and I had 66,000 miles when I sold it. It was still running strong. I'm just at the point in life (finally) when I can afford an ultimate level car, (not including real exotics like Ferrari, Bentley, Aston Martin) and really want it. Still, I do love my ZR. What to do??????

I can't tell you how many times I have thought of that. Build the motor, do a full twin turbo, etc, etc, etc. Problem with that is that modding a car engine to that degree ALWAYS leads to constant maintanence and tweaking issues. Plus, you really need to have a good tuner very near by that you can easily get to, to deal with stuff that comes up. That's an easy thing for people on the west coast or right in a big city, but I live in a relatively rural area, and it'll always be a bit of work for me to get to a tuning shop. Something is always coming up, plus you just don't get money back on mods. I already put $20k into the Z. I'll either decide just to keep the Z as is and stay with it for a while longer, or to go to high-end car from the factory.

You are probably referring to some of my fellow club members who attended the run. They sport "TSZ33" stickers in the side window. We have a website TSZ33.com .
