Default Just got back from Philly Auto Show..

EDIT: GOT SOME PICS UP!!

....a couple thoughts... The 07 Z has got some weird looking headlights, although i have an 03 so maybe its the same as the 06 and i just dont know... on another note, I saw CarV2's car there -same one i posted about being in turbo magazine.. Thing looks real good in person - the sign said 718HP which was a surprise since i thought it was only in the 6's.. 4 Zs in all, 2 in the tuner rooms (turbonetics single turbo roadster, and carv2's coupe) and 2 on the main floor (07 Zs)... Show seemed worth it this year, but I was dissapointed to not see anything about the GT-R.. Guess its too soon.. Nothing too crazy that caught the eye, but my .02 is that its still worth the trip for 12 bucks to get in... I'll get around to posting some pics later if anyone is interested..

Me and a couple buddies went there yesterday as well. Well worth the $12.00 I'd say. Carv2's Z was looking good in person and I was wondering about the 719hp plaque that they had on the motor as well. On their site is says only 650hp? Maybe its not updated. Anyway yea show was good, but nothing caught your eye man? Did you see that Audi R8? Nasty haha.

I assume it means hp, not whp.

624whp assuming a 13% drivetrain loss equals about 718bhp.

Exactly. It is easier to explain bhp (crank HP) to the common consumer than wheel HP. On the large display sign it has the crank and wheel hp #'s for all boost levels/octane used.

Sorry I missed you Harry, I must have been walking around.

The R8 is super nasty!

Sadly, the car show wasn't in the cards this year... The last 1.5 weeks have been trips to St. Louis, Atlanta, Providence and Nashville. I leave for NYC tomorrow for a couple days.

I hate work.

Guys...& Gals...
Every year all the dealerships in the area get tickets to the Phila Auto Show...If you walk into any dealership and ask for tickets they will give them up. My dealership alone has well over 300 tickets and i am at a Tri Plex which means the other 2 stores each had over 300 each as well...
I will be going at the end of the week. Look forward to the tuners, and always love going up top to the Audi, Jag, Infiniti...Nissan told us the Altima Coupe is there...in the pictures it looks similar to the G35 coupe...anyone take notice to it in person???

Yea my dad works at BMW and he picked me up 3 tickets for this weekend. Pretty sweet deal. Can't wait to go this Friday. Did they actually have an 07 Z there? I'd like to see the new hood in person. Oh, and any GT-R by any chance?

Well, it does support my modding adiction, so it can't be all bad... but do you have any idea how cold St. Louis and Chicago are this time of year. Makes DE seem like the Bahamas.
