I just the Blizzaks on. WS-50 225/50/17 in front and WS-50 225/55/17 in rear per TireRack's specs.

Pictures here
link to gallery with tires

I haven't tested dry/wet/snow performance yet... but give me time to test.

I got my Bilzzaks last winter and it made a remarkable difference. I also added 150lbs of kitty litter in the back for more traction. The car handled quite decently in the snow, and heaven knows NJ got PLENTY of snow last year.

Get the Blizzaks, add some weight and drive smart!!!!

My Initial-D test track.... details to follow (when I have more time to write) Most important detail after experimentation: "Do not attempt to drive with the TCS/VDC disabled!"

Picked up some 18" blizzak MZ03 runflats in 245/40/18 x 4 for 200 bucks for the whole set... only 500 miles on them. I pretty much stole them from the guy, but hey, I still have to buy either stock g35/350z 18" rims or unmount my stock tires and mount these on. I'd rather get a spare set of rims and mount them on.

My Z is sleeping in the garage as the first major snow fall hits the lower New York area... i do plan on driving it when able, but my rule is that the snow has to be gone, and the slush too...My car is leased, but i fully intend on buying it when its all done, and i want the car to be in the best shape possiable, if that means using my Maxima more, then ill just have to make up for lost time this summer with runs down to the beach at Sunset
I figure since im paying the insurance on it, i need to get some use out of it, but for the most part i think if this winter is like last year, she will be getting to know my lawn mower in the biblical scence..
My buddy got a G35c and is basically doing the same thing, however my garage is super small, the Z just about fits... his is bigger, so im thinking about maybe them having a sleep over... I got my maxima for the snow, she actually handles nice and is fun to drive now that its dropped and has new tires... besides in a worse case scenario id rather someone bump me in the max then in the Z

definately driving it this winter. any condtion except snow like today. aint going to be **** about it. i've learned my lesson from being like that with my Prelude i had. a car is meant to be driven. no point in just letting it hybernate in the garage and pay for insurance on the car at the same time. if i need to drive it, i will. i remember in the Prelude forums there were guys that store their car over the winter and put it on four jacks so the tires wont be flat and not have stress on the suspension. man, give me a break its just a car. unless u going to keep it for the rest of your life or something i dont see why would someone go to such extreme. once this snow clears up my Z is hittin' the streets again.

I can just picture a lot of little Zs running around with lawn mower engines.

Personally, I prefer the image of little riding mowers with Z engines...it would certainly make mowing the lawn a lot less of a pain in the @ss.

looks like that's what I am gonna need on my 5hp to the wheels (maybe at the crank) snow blower, an additional 200whp is what I need for the blistering blizzard winter of 2004

Looks that way….

I will drive my baby when the road conditions permit
They surely don't permit right now.

350Zzzz,
I do like your attached image. How do you create effects like that?
I would love to learn how.

Default first Kansas snow

I got my 17 Michelin Alpins mounted today, just in time for the first Kansas City snow. The difference is unbelieveable. Very good braking, acceleration and steering. Well worth the $100 I paid last March for the 4 of them.
I will drive my car daily.
