Not at all interested in that one. Everything looks a little too rough.
Also forgot to update you guys on my trip to Cruisin' OC this weekend. Managed to take down a VW golf, 2 boosted New Edge mustangs, 1 N/A new edge mustang, 1 fox body mustang, and 2 coyote mustangs, and a newbody WRX that was heavily modded.
Only loss of the entire weekend was to a C7 Z06 and Im perfectly fine with that. Funny story behind that race. I saw him on the way down and tried to race, like I tried hard. I knew I would lose but I wanted to see the Z06 fly. He didn't race. I ended up seeing him down in OC, tried to race again, he didn't go for it. Saw him again on the way home, tried again, he didn't go for it. I stopped for gas at some point and got back on the road and there he was again. This time, he was antagonizing to race.
Ended up talking to guy. We me and him raced, his Z06 had 300 miles on the clock...
Totally different note: Not sure if I should more impressed/proud that my girl can work on her car on her own, or if I should be more disappointed at how many times the windows in this car have had issues

Not too bad for a "little import" at Cruise week. I'd happily take an L from a C7Z. They are no slouch.
In other news, we got to run our first 8.50 index race with the Chevelle. Timing controller had issues in the first round of eliminations and wouldn't rev up to the two step properly. New controller going in over the winter since the season is over. Still, to go from being an all motor car to a nitrous 8.50 index car in only 2 months is impressive. Even more impressive is running an near spot on 8.48 and 8.52 after only 4 nitrous passes. 2017 should be a good season.

Yea thats definitely impressive.
I was very surprised at how noisy the blower is on the C7. I really didn't expect to hear it at all, but it was definitely audible over the obnoxious racket my car makes

I just think it would be fun to take one apart, and all the extra parts would be great for hoarding. That one took a massive hit to the front though I would only pick it up if it was about half that price.
I would like to find a main wiring harness for the engine though.

Well being that I like the guys in this thread, you all will get first grabs at anything on a car that I part out. Still waiting to hear back from the guy though...

Nice are you keeping the engine or anything? I almost got a engine and subframe a few months ago just to take the engine apart for the ***** and giggles (it had a knock) and was going to get the subframe so I could take my time cleaning it up nicely...
I was planning to go pick it up and the guy kept saying he was busy and how about tomorrow. So I gave up
I tried to join the Facebook page but apparently I wasn't cool enough because I never got added.

I don't think they are the same harnesses, I was looking into it a few days ago and im pretty sure they need to be the same model and transmission...
You should investigate when you pull it out.

It came with my longblock so I have it already off the car, it is off a rwd 6mt sedan. Not sure about the vehicle differences, I think it would probably be wire lengths if anything. They use the same everything really.

This thread alleviates my concerns about interfacing between the harness and the ECU in a Z. I may hold onto it now.... My 230k harness is probably not in the best of shape. Let me know if you want it aha.

Haha yeah if you want to rid yourself of the 230k mile harness at some point I would deff take that one off your hands..
I just want a backup for when (if) I start ripping up mine.

Im currently ripping up my interior harnesses, its super time consuming and not a lot of fun, I don't really know why im doing it other then having something to do... Plus its not costing me any money.

All I plan to keep from the car is the short block. Everything else can go
