It now has the color and texture of a charcoal grill haha. It's absolutely not for everybody but I wanted it done. I think white is the worst color for an engine bay
After crashing my G I had to lie dormant for about 8 months as I worked through my last few months of school while accumulating credit card debt just to pay my bills. I definitely should have waited to purchase a new car at that time, but $4k was a steal for the white Z I picked up considering I had $2k from G35 parts.
I made it, thanks to a new job I got in March. I have worked my way out of debt and am back on top officially.
Found a nice big apartment and a 2 car garage a few blocks away for $1050/month total, plus utilities. Just hung plenty of lighting, moved my tools, installed a bench/shelves/vise, and am ready to build!
The G is officially in it's final resting place in the new garage. It is going through euthanasia for a greater good.
I predict I will be visiting Vince at RT Tuning before Christmas in a Greddy Twin Turbo 350z instead of a G35
You can't go wrong with Vince.
Out if curiosity, where is your new place at? I'm about to move out to Bethlehem/Allentown in the next 4 weeks
Can't wait to visit them again. With stiffer wastegate springs...
My new place is just West of Providence, but not by much. If you're taking about Allentown, PA it's a world away haha
I actually used to work(did a detail, painted the whole building) at the Hamburg Post Office near you, Craig, before I relocated to Harrisburg PO.. Small world.
I obviously have too much time on my hands because I found the exact picture and added your quote...
[QUOTE=CJM;10790494]Installed my rear Akebono's to match the front, found an empty stretch of road, performed the break in procedure, confused some Amish folk and then took some pictures to commemorate the event.
Mike that box looks good. I love the look of a 15". And that picture of colton is probably straight from KBD. I know he removes the background of our pictures when he uses them on his site.
And Matt I frequently visit the Hamburg post office. Since you're local I must ask, you looking for any parts? And why are you looking to paint yours flat black? Is the paint bad or are you looking to switch it up?
Thanks it didnt come out bad, like it much better than my 8 inch set... I turned it up past -2 the other day to show it off to a co-worker... I couldn't stay in the car, it shakes my brain.
