Project of the day was successful. I decided to get rid of my coolant crossover tube to clean things up a little. But instead of just put caps over the open end like most people I went a step further.
I cut and plugged the tube thats on the driver's side of the car. And on the passenger side I went ahead and converted that tube into NPT threads for my coolant temp sensor. So now I don't have an ugly temp sensor adapter in the main top coolant hose.
And after that was settled I painted it with some lovely grill paint so that it blends in a little more and will match the engine bay

Well what an update I have for everyone.
Thursday night I was driving home from work in the rain in my Audi A4 - they had just paved the road that day I learned. Long story short, I wasn't doing anything stupid, but hydroplaned across the road and head on'd a 2016 Honda Pilot. Spent the next 3 days in the hospital recovering from a compound tibia/fibula fracture. They put a rod in it and now I'm just trying to get rid of pain. Was discharged Saturday evening. It'll be about 6-8 weeks before I can drive again.
Also, on a more positive note, my wheels finally came in after 19 weeks of waiting. It'll be a bit til I can have them on the car due to my current condition, but it's nice knowing they are here.

Mike that box looks good. I love the look of a 15". And that picture of colton is probably straight from KBD. I know he removes the background of our pictures when he uses them on his site.
And Matt I frequently visit the Hamburg post office. Since you're local I must ask, you looking for any parts? And why are you looking to paint yours flat black? Is the paint bad or are you looking to switch it up?

Cool. Yeah, Hamburg's a quaint little town. I like it. I also did details at the Lenhartsville and Port Clinton P.O.'s too.. Anyway, nah, not looking for any parts at the moment. Why? Do you have some things that you're trying to get rid of? As far as the flat black paint, no, I was just kidding with bboy about his Amish Pennsylvania reference.

Looking good, whos car is in the background? That dude just build motors for people in his garage?
Was their any machining or anything or can you just pull the engine apart and replace everything with better internal parts?
Kinda sucks everything is so expensive, I might try reassembling my spare block, but my luck I would sink $3500 into it and it would blow up the first time I try and start it.

The car in the back is his personal car. I believe that's his N/A car. And yes the heads and block were machined but he has that done by someone else because he doesn't have the machinery. The rest of the assembly is done by him. I would do it myself but I don't have the money to risk something being off a hair and causing detonation.
Mike buy my RPF1s

I think Craig is trying to subliminally tell you something here but I can't quite put my finger on it...
Also, my plans of working on my car this weekend are out the window. Swelling kicked in full force yesterday and I can barely have my foot down for more than a few seconds before I can't stand it anymore. I can move everything very well though, so once swelling subsides, I should be able to do anything
