Isn't that a Friday? Wouldn't it be better to do this on a Saturday or Sunday?

July 1st is also the first day of the Vintage Races out at Pacific Raceways.

Regardless, though, what are the details. Meetup, when, etc?

I'm up for July 2nd.

So what's the plan? BBQ on the Beach? Lunch at one of the local restaurants?

Running our Z's on the sand?.... I think I'll pass on that.

Lets do the July 2 on the Saturday. BBQ on the beach and just hanging out. Meet up at Renton. Any body know of a place off the freeway. And say meet time about 12:00.

Hey Donald2175, do you want to take the reigns on this 350Z get together? Maybe start a new thread that we can all go to agree on a date that works best for most of us here on the forum? Maybe we could even talk about other locations too incase Ocean Shores doesn't work out for everyone. I'm looking forward for a get together in something other that an autox practice day.

Just a little unsure about the date on this thread since you mentioned July 23rd in another one. Something we should all discuss, right?

Hey Jason. I remember the get together that you put together last year (or was it the year before?) where we went for a drive through Issaquah & Carnation. That was a lottta fun. Could you tell me what those roads were, I'm looking for some roads for a nice drive on Sat mornings.

I don't know the name of the roads off hand, I'll see if I can put together a route map. That was probably 2 years ago, I've been far to distracted for any Z fun for a while. Going to try and fix that a bit this summer

Nah. No worries. This thread can continue so the the people following it can know that a new one is starting. Just create the new one and all of us that are interested will follow your lead.

From Seattle: (Approximate driving time: 2.5 hours)
Head South on I-5 to Olympia
At Olympia take Exit 104 (towards Aberdeen & Ocean beaches) Hwy. 101 North
Stay on main highway. It turns into Hwy. 8 West. Then, at Elma, it changes into Hwy. 12 West
Upon reaching Aberdeen, follow the signs that take you to Hwy. 101 North - to Hoquiam and Ocean beaches. DO NOT TAKE THE WESTPORT TURN
You should be in the left lane as you cross the Hoquiam bridge. Bear right and then turn left at the second traffic light onto Hwy. 109 (Ocean Shores and Ocean beaches)
After approximately 18 miles, turn left onto Hwy. 115 (Oyehut/Ocean Shores)
Highway 115 turns into Damon Rd. as you curve to the right. Turn left into Ocean Shores – through the stone gates.

lol. I guess if I could trade my Z in on a Viper and could actually keep my kidneys and teeth in tact to use it as a daily driver that I would too!

Best of luck!

Trany went out at 7500 miles, Oil Pump just went out, Feathering of the tires, Trany just went out again at 14000 miles, Car would not start on Friday had it towed to the Dodge Dealer and then traded it. Im not hard on the car do not race it around wanted to just fix it up for looks. But can't even drive it with out some thing going wrong. But I do know that not all the Zs are like that. I hope on one of the meetings you guys would let me come out and see your cars.

Sorry to hear about all those problems. I know how it is though. I had a 2000 MR2 Spyder that went through a total of FOUR engine blocks, 3 sets of cats, various other parts, and far too much time in the shop.

I've been lucky with the Z so far, nothing worse than window streaks really, and I don't exactly baby the car

Well, I hope you enjoy your Viper and find it to be trouble free
