also Im goin to do the Bible creek cruise with the northwest Z gang this sunday..
sounds like a great weekend of driving!!
if anyone is intrested heres the info..
Bible Creek Cruise
(This is taking the place of the McKenzie Cruise)
For NorthWest Z members and anyone who shares a desire for cruising and the
"Z" car!
Sunday, September 18
We will leave from the Denny's near Costco in Salem at 10:00am. It will
take us toward the coast through Fort Hill, on to Hwy 22, along the South
Yamhill River, along Three Rivers, through Hebo and Beaver and Blaine, then
up the famous Bible Creek Road, then on more great twisties back toward
Willamina and some more back roads on to Amity and back to Salem.
We will stop at Coyote Joe's Restaurant in Willamina about 2/3rds of the way
through the cruise for lunch. They have a room all set aside for us. This
should be around 1:00.
Nancy and I drove the previous McKenzie cruise route and found allot of slow
moving vehicles with almost no turn outs. It was frustrating for us as a
single car, and would be horrible for a group of cars. This is why we
moved it to the Bible Creek Road, as it has far less traffic. There is
talk of some of the southern people that know the area putting on a
southerly cruise soon. They probably know of better places than we do.
To get there:
Take Salem Exit 253 (Hwy 22)
Go West toward Salem for about 1/2 mile.
At the first light turn right on Hawthorne.
Then turn left on to Ryan Drive and left into the Denny's parking lot.
We will leave at 10:00AM.
There is gas at Costco across the street if you have a membership.
We will have some handouts at the beginning of the cruise.

We've had a death in the family, this past Thursday, so I will be unable to lead on Saturday or go on the Bible Creek cruise on Sunday. If those who want to CruiZe the Coast can wait a bit longer, I'll be glad to reschedule this for 9/24 or the following Saturday, 10/1, depending on weather.

I won't be able to clear the relatives out of the house until sometime Saturday afternoon this weekend so let's shoot for 10/1. I am trying to schedule a mini-meet at a Chili's in Lake Oswego. See this thread:
https://my350z.com/forum/north-west/143240-portland-mini-meet-9-24-in-lake-oswego.html
So let's have a brew or two, chat and then get ready (weather permitting) to CruiZe the Coast on 10/1.
