Default Sonics org. are a bunch of idiots

Trade Ray Allen? The second best 2 guard in the west? Are you kidding me? Why not get Luke out to ATL for Law instead and have the best balanced team in the west? This is the worst trade the sonics have ever made, next to Kemp leaving. What a bunch of morons. Wally Z is HORRIBLE and so is Delonte. They can't play ANY defense and allen is better shooting AND ball handling. Terrible terrible trade. Why would they ruin an organization like this unless they are planning to move it? Just god aweful.

The Sonics bring in a bunch of new guys (#1, #5, #31 and #35 in draft) and let them mature together for a year during their lame duck season. They then move the team and have a nice young team with tremendous marketing potential and upside to sell the fans of their new home in OKC or elsewhere. It sucks for Seattle fans but I will admit it is a sly move by the front office.

I think most excitment for the super sonics in Seattle has died. I know lots of people who were season ticket holder for many years, not get season tickets for the last couple of years. Seattle = little love for the sonics.

I worked for sonics in 95-96 season. We were so good back then... I miss those days.... Durant and Green will be great but why so many forwards unless Lewis is done in Seattle...

WINNER: Seattle SuperSonics – Not only do they get Kevin Durant, the most exciting player to enter the league Thursday and a future 10-time all-star and highlight-making machine, they also shipped out Allen to get Jeff Green, the big-time scorer from Georgetown, an outside shooter in Szczerbiak and a rotation guard in West. Plus, with Allen gone, they have the money to re-sign Rashad Lewis.
That's a heck of a night for a franchise starting a brand new era. Durant is such a thrilling talent that he may even be able to energize the city and help get an arena built. If not, he'll be a mega-star in Las Vegas, the new-age Sinatra on the Strip. It's a win-win for the Sonics.

Big day in the NBA draft. Missed out on it, I definitely need to catch up on my basketball. From what I read ^, looks like Seattle's doing some major rebuilding. Can't wait to see what else changes in the off season for the 07'-08' season this year.

So I hate the trade because I thought the Sonics were a playoff contender with Luke Ray Durant Wilcox and Petro as a starting 5 but now it's looking like a West, Green, Durant, Wilcox and Petro (unless they move a big man and Luke for a new big man haha)

I like West alot he's young and got great potential. We did get younger, and we have a young stud, so this year was the RIGHT year to rebuild so we dont have waht happened to KG a mid career rebuilding process for Durant.

Sad day in seattle. Look the only reason they moved the 2nd best 2 guard in the west is because they want to "rebuild." That means less cap $. I'm sure they are gonna move the team now because the sonics wont be any good for at least a couple of years. Do you guys honestly think Rashard will stay in seattle this up coming season? Of course not. Think of how good the sonics would have been with Law (should have moved luke to atl for him) Ray Durrant Lewis and Wilcox. Then Collison off the bench and wilkins and watson. It would have been a very good team and we would have made the playoffs healthy or not. And now its just a sad dream. The new owner now officially fu*&%* seattle and their fans.

You realize that if the sonics would have moved Luke they wouldn't have signed Law but rather Stuckley out of Eastern Wa.
