I found this thread interesting, in the SW forum I've been trying to generate interest in an early season High Performance Driving Class (HPDC) exclusively for Nissan drivers. With a background teaching at SCCA and BMW schools, as well as Nissan Sport HPDCs over the past five years, to have the exclusive use of a 2.2 mile road course for $150 and a structured program to learn how to drive should be attractive.

But so far, the new Z and G drivers have stayed away in droves! I've had to cancel a track day at Pueblo Motorsports Park in '07 for lack of interest and may have to do the same with this one if things don't change. For those interested in what we offer, here's a link:

Other than turns 8A and 12, PIR is relatively safe if you have an "off."

With 8A, repaving probably got rid of the "Porsche bumps" so it shouldn't be as bad, just don't be late on the turn!

With 12, I've heard that the entrance to 10-11 isn't quite as open as it used to be, so 12 should be good -- unless you get really wide and hit the point, or the wall at the exit (I never even came close to either).

BIG difference between racing and lapping!

In racing, you might get to 100%, but you'll be well over 90% of the car most of the time.

In lapping, if you get to 90%, you're pushing too hard.

Lapping is for fun, racing is for prizes.
