I'm getting super tired of modding and spending more money into my bottomless pit. Michelle and I are moving out on our own and with her getting a G35 I just want a car that I don't have to spend more money on modding, fun, but also practical. It's really been more than exciting to have the Z but I made a mistake of buying an 5AT and that's really killing me.

I'm looking at an 06 Evo IX MR (graphite or white) - With all the added bonuses of the MR and it being manual (yes!!!!!) I'm going to just leave it stock (for the most part) but will be doing light mods like spacers, mild drop, and exhaust.

I will be posting a part-out list soon. Hoping to get $ from the parts, sell the Z stock, and adding more on top of it for an MR. I might be making a trip to CA to pick one up...whose with me?

I'm having a hard time deciding between STI and Evo but the MR really seals the deal with all the MR added bonuses. So yeah, hopefully you'll all welcome me to the meets still

 

Oh and I'm going to try and stay away from EvolutionM forum to prevent me from modding this car as much as possible....

FI won't cure my 5AT (automatic) problem. I also need 2 more doors and some backseats and a trunk since I won't have any cars to borrow anymore (I usually take the parents cars for grocery, etc) Plus I'm trying to NOT mod lol. It's like buying a NISMO 350Z. I think those guys are smart as hell because guess what?! You don't have to mod it! If anything you would want to keep it simple and maintain its specially made feature!

Everyime I see a white Evo MR 9 I get soo jealous. I have always been in love with the white evos and I have always wanted one. Even today I was considering trading it in, then I realized the Z looks alot better and I don't want to go through the hassle.

If you are going through completely get a white MR 9.
