Default might be selling

just got an offer for $30k on my car. guy will fly out and pick it up tomorrow. about to say yes, but having a hard time.
what do you guys think?

btw- just put an offer down yesterday on a smoking short sale on some property and house and need $50k to close it. this puts me over and above. just wasn't planning on seling it right now.

is $30k a good price in this market?

$30K is a great price. However, the car is worth more to you than the market value. Do you mind going to your garage and NOT seeing your Z?!?! If you can honestly say no, and you have 30,000 reasons then its a good price. If youre going to miss your one of a kind Z, then who knows...

I, the master of all Z values deem your sale pricepoint a success.

There you go. Go on now. I know. Feels good.

Congrats.

Oh, and may the purchase of this home be the best decision you've ever made.

Considering the amount he's put into this Z, $30k is a hard hit to take. At least it's sold though.

i will mind going into the garage and not seeing it for sure. but it is kind of a love hate thing really. like the girlfriend who can screw your brains out but outside of the bedroom, it is crap, lol.
i drive it just every once in awhile, so it is kind of a garage ornament. this is probably the most i will ever get for the car, so i am thinking in the long run, it is best.

i know for a lightly modded 03 Z it is alot of dough. but this is a HIGHLY modified with not much more you can do to it Z with a full color change and exterior and interior nearly flawless. 1000's of hours i have into it. about $100k to replicate. the chassis has about 70k miles, drivetrain has less the 2k though.

they actually list them. once the owner goes past foreclosure and is slated for auction, you can go in and make an offer. takes a few months for the bank to decide to accept, but chances are they will accept.
2 years ago the house and property sold for $550k. i put an offer of $250k. bank already appoved $300k right now. they will accept my offer if no one else bids higher. then i will bump it a little.
i'm self employed so i have to put 20%+ down, but for others, you could get away with alot less to get the loan approved.

as the market goes back up, i can refinance (or even right after i get it) and pull out equity and buy whatever car i want, lol. new gtr, maybe
