Man, i went to manteca last friday and I left a 3:45 and it took me over 2 1/2hrs. I would have to take a day off to make it to sac. At least with Infineon, I can work 7-1pm then head straight there and make it before or at 3:30pm
The more the merrier, dont' forget helmet for 14sec and under, no shorts, and bring a sweater cuz it gets cold at night. And 20 for racers 10 for spectators.

is that me?
It'll be a while; front suspension on this body is messed up. the right strut tilts in a bit; the guy who did the alignment just pointed the wheels straight, but the car still pulls to the left. My guess is that the whole front end is a bit off, the car has been in an accident before I got it, but it didn't look off. eh. I have no money, so no new body or bodywork for a long while.
It could use some tuning; too much timing, and it seems to drop off above 5500rpm.

Datsun roadster guys tend to be really cool car guys, or real arrogant snobs. At the annual Shasta All-Datsun Meet, the Datsun Roadster Meet often takes place at the same time just a few miles away. Lots of the Roadster guys do both events. Shasta becomes a huge Datsun driving event, and everybody does a lot of waving, except for some of the Roadster guys, who seem to think that 510s somehow aren't good enough. The year I went, I tried talking to one guy in town about his car, and he couldn't be bothered. Though a number of other guys were real friendly.

Yeah, those bird look pretty healthy. But, Romi has been working out however. I'll post a picture in the morning of his workout.
Even though the drags were cancelled, it was a "10" boarderline "11" kinda night.
Good company, Good laughs.
Have a great week everyone ....

Yeah found it hard to believe that you red lighted when you said that.
Too bad you guys didn't get more runs. So, what is the next event?
Since this was cancelled are we waiting to next month to see who wins the DR's? Or, make up?
