Thunderhill April 16, 2006: 33% off !!!!!
I signed up for the event. I even got two friends who will be signing up today. Looks like there'll be be good Z representation!
I'll be using R-comps for the first time; they are unshaven since I only do DE's. It'll probably still take some time for me get used to the additional grip, and slight change in balance (same width tires all around). Hopefully, Failsafe won't be disappearing into the horizon as quickly :-)
I heard someone will be driving their new C6 Z06 at this event...it should be exciting to watch.
Dave, will you be driving your radical?

Dave (tracknut), if you need another instructor for the April NCRC event, I would recommend daveh. He has instructed me several times via two different clubs, and he is outstanding! Though, based on his schedule, he seems a bit oversubscribed...
I'm really looking forward to this event. My last time out with NCRC was one of the most memorable. It was also fun watching the ARC races (though there won't be any this time around).

I'm in the process of modifying my car, but by the time this track session rolls around, my car is completely stock. Regardless, I wanted to take my Z on the track to learn how to better drive my car, however, it looks like everyone has who's going has made some or a lot of modifications to their car. Will I be the only person with stock car? Any advice for a track newbie?
Thanks.
Thanks.

It looks like a handful of Z's will be coming to this event!!! A lot of ppl go up the evening before the event and stay at the Best Western (http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwest...ctInfo.do#null) - Tell them that you're with NCRC and I think you should get a discounted rate.
If you want to caravan to this, sign up and we can make the 3 hr drive together. (I've tried saving $ by driving up the morning of the event...I made it through it, but I was soooo tired - I'd rather spend a little more and really enjoy the day). Also, if you want to split the room cost, put that down and hopefully you can find someone.

All cars are welcome! (I still like how the 300zx looks...should be fun to see how it compares with tehe 350z). I've done a track day w/ driving up and back in the same day...I get super tired from driving events - so I don't do that any more.
Email Dave Mills at dave@ncracing.org for the parent consent form.

Hey just a thought. I'm going up as a spectator. I was thinking about taking my Motorhome for a meeting place or to hang out at if we can get it close enough to the action like at infineon how they park them right next to the track. Who knows? What do we have to do to insure this?
I was also thinking that it would be nice to have some tools on hand for you guys that aren't going to lug them up with you. Dunno, just thought if someone need someone to haul somestuff I could help. Space is limitted with my Utility trailer however. It's a ~36 Dodge pick up bed. Good for ~8 tires and some tools.
I could also bring Hot Dogs and Sodas for those interested.
Just an offer ..... feedback please....

That is Easter Sunday .... So, how many are really going? Is there a list?

AJ, that sounds great! There's always plenty of parking at T-hill...the track saddles the paddock/parking area...so you park super close to everything. There's always a few ppl that bring their trailers, so I don't see why you couldn't.
I usually bring a wide assortment of tools, but it'd be good to have a more compete set that maybe you could bring up.
Once we get closer to April, I think we'll have a better idea of who will be going up.
