Default any good PC driving simulator/games?

just got a new dell and looking for some fun driving games. any suggestions?
i am hoping to find one with real track experience like laguna or sears... any free download? ha!

PC graphics are ALWAYS better than console graphics - way more computing power in a PC than a in a console (assuming you have a modest-to-great graphics card & cpu)...and you can always get a console-like controller instead of the keyboard.


need for speed series is good - porsche unleashed, high stakes, hot pursuit 2, etc...so is collin mcrae rally

Although I am a proponent of PC games, I think it's fair to say that a xbox 360 cost about as much as a decent video card and it should work right out of the box.

True. The cost for PC game and Xbox almost the same too.
