Guys near Sacrameto. Need help paying scammer a visit (retrieving an item).
So some guy wins an eBay auction of mine for a copy of Ratchet and Clank Future for the PS3. He pays. I ship. Game arrives, all is good. Right? Wrong. Two months later, this jerk files a chargeback claim against me, claiming an unauthorized purchase. Doesn't contact me or anything to talk about this issue. The process goes on for two months, until today - where the credit card company refused to work with Paypal and voted in favor of thief.
What does this mean? The guy now has both my game, and got his $60 refund. I'm trying to get a hold of the guy, but thus far, all to no avail. It doesn't seem likely that he's going to return the game, and I think scammers shouldn't get away that easy. I did some researching on him: he's a 34 year old white male. His name is Jason P. Walters. He lives near Sacramento, in a town called Antelope.
If anybody would like to pay him a house visit and retrieve my PS3 game, I would appreciate it immensely, and offer a reward in exchange for your troubles. I can PM someone his full address if anybody would like to help me out.

Not sure what kind of reward would be offered for a $60 game...
I hate scammers, they are the scum of the earth. What you can try and do is contact his local police department and file a stolen goods claim on him. Maybe they can pay him a visit and get your game back and you dont have to lose any more money other than having it shipped back.

Damn to bad Sacramento is 2.5 hours away cause I sure would like a copy of GTA IV collectors addition for the 360 when it comes out... And this guy would be a good person to practice some of those GTA moves on...LOL
No but seriously I hope you can get this resolved in a peaceful manner and like I said, file a police report with his local department and when they get around to it they will go pay a visit to him as it is credit card fraud that he committed even though it was only for $60...

I've seen this happen to a few different people. In every case I've heard so far the buyer always gets the mediator to side with them and recieves a full refund no matter how bad they've screwed the seller.
Seems like a pretty good scam to me ... buy something, lie about recieving it, keep the item, and get a full refund.
As far as visiting dood... u gotta put in ur own work around here player!
