Default pricing on Z's in norcal bay area

Hi, new to this forum, but very interested in purchasing a Z in the near future. I was wondering what kind of price I could haggle the salesmen down to in the dealers around here. I'm looking for a touring Z w/ no navi. I've read about ppl getting them for 31-32k in other states several months back. Can I expect to get this type of deal or better in the bay area? Has anyone bought a Z in the bay area recently? I'm hoping I can get a real good deal especially since the 2004's are about to come in. Any dealer recommendations? Thanks in advance for helping out a noob.

Purchased mine in concord on 5/18/03. They knew squat about the car but were willing to deal (ignore the 5k premium they have on the windshield). I got everthing but the Nav & side air bags & got it for $1,000.00 under msrp. Also got the bra, rear cargo & floor mats and a car cover thrown in. They'll try to jack the interest rate on you though. If your credit score is strong (750 or above) you should be able to get a rate at or just below 5%.Things seem to be slowing down a bit on sales so you may even get it for 1500 to 2000 under. I noticed that Fairfield Nissan had a couple in stock, a brickyard and one of the silvers. I think you should get their brick & take it out of the area since mine is the only one of that color I've seen anywhere in the area. Good luck!

I got my Z the beginning of June at North Bay Nissan (Petaluma). I talked to Dave S - and he worked me a deal on my CS performance for invoice! I had never met him before, but happily recommend him.

Tell him Ryan sent you in!

I am a bargain shopper, and went to/spoke to dealers from literally all the dealerships from Santa Cruz to Santa Rosa. Not only did Dave worked the best deal, but he also provided great customer service. However, I don't know if he'll go under invoice....

Best of luck.

Default bay area dealerships

back in april when i got back from the war in iraq i shopped around, most dealerships in the bay area were marking the 350Z 3000-5000, i then looked at my local dealership in salinas(MY NISSAN). they didnt mark up their 350Z's. and they seem to always have 5-6 cars on the lot. their number is 831 444 8888. if you call them ask for Tony.

You have good odds of getting under sticker (MSRP) but very long odds of getting under invoice.

MSRP = Suggested Price

Invoice = Dealer (theoretical) cost.

got mine for $1250 under msrp. had to order mine and got it at he end of june from Boardwalk Nissan. my salesman, Russell was really nice and helpful.
i highly doubt you can get it for under invoice, due to the low availability of the z's. especially now that the 04's are coming out.
good luck.

Default I will also recommend russell

Even though I didn't buy through him at the end. It was tough locating the touring model with GPS in color combo that I wanted. In the end I paid MSRP at Anticoh Nissan. Russell was giving me $1250 off MSRP.

With 04 models coming, you should be able to knock atleast2k off MSRP. A guy on another forum got $2500 off MSRP in Salinas.

Im wondering....are there still gonna be new 2003 350's by the end of this year during christmas time? Do you guys think theres gonna be a significant price difference between then and now? Obviously there isn't gonna be as good of selection then between models as now though.

Default silver@black

That's without GPS so add $2k for that. That's what I paid more than 3 months ago. So prices still hanging on.
