Default 12/13 Thunderhill Track Day Pics

WOW!
What an incredible day. Big thanks to Dennis and Peggy Hale with UFO for putting on a great event.
The weather cooperated with us and amazingly it did not rain on the track at all.
Scott drove his silver '03 350, Rob and Meghan in the red 370Z, Patrick in the orange '04 350, and my wife and I in our silver '06.

Patrick's Z is awesome! I love the Porsche paint color. He was fast on the track too.

Scott's Z was LOUD---did they get you at 105db
The SSRs look sick:

This was my first track day with the newly installed Stoptech BBK(332mm), I've been driving on S-03s and stock calipers/nismo pads for about 2 years.
On street tires (kumho) and street pads I must say that the confidence, feel, and fade free performance of this kit is sensational...can't wait to try some slicks.

ps this was my wife's first track day, and 2nd time driving stick...I am so proud of her

That is us! We parked there to go to our company holiday party.
I remember seeing 2 Z's in that garage, one was loud and tricked out and I think I got a nod from the driver. What were you in?

Good times, guys!
Pat - good to run with you on the track again, even though my day was slightly shortened.

AG - great driving! With the sticky tires, me, you, and Pat will tear it up (and Rob again once he sorts out the 370). I did get busted at 105dB. Who knew T-hill actually enforced their 103dB rule? Is anyone out there that cares about the noise?

Thanks, I just picked those Type Cs up for what was going to be a rainy event, you can see my sticky tires on the tire tail (2 of them, the other two are in the car) behind me. The event was with the NorCal 510 club. I had posted about the event in our local section to try and get others to join: https://my350z.com/forum/northern-ca...g-friends.html

We lucked out and missed the rain all day!

Good stuff and good driving guys. Hopefully when my car is done I'll be able to make it out.

Scott, when is the next possible planned track day?

Nothing on the books yet, though I'm thinking about Buttonwillow with Speed Ventures at the end of January: http://www.speedventures.com/events/...il.aspx?id=268

or Laguna Seca with ncrcracing.org on 2/1 or 2/25.

Scott, hows ur car? Get it fixed yet?
The next event is Nov 27 Sunday @ thunderhill, a private event with 1 group for drifting and 1 or 2 group for grip. Let me know if you can make it.

You mean DEC 27th! Sadly, I can't make it as we'll still be on holiday travel. Not fixed yet - $100 part, no biggie.

Bent the passenger tie rod when it rolled off the jack as I was putting the jack stand underneath it. Minor fix, plus forces me to install the adjustable front (and will do the rears also) control arms since I'll need an alignment anyway. I'm anxious to dial in the camber and toe, as it's been all stock so far minus the camber gained from lowering it. From my tire temp figures, there is too much camber in the current state, so I should be able to pick up some speed and braking ability by taking some out.

Hey Alvin, while I was checking out the photos on gotbluemilk.com, I found that we have some pictures with all four of us going downhill, I think your car was the one on top of the hill. Did you purchase those pictures? It looks kinda cool! Let me know!
