Hey guys planning to get on my first track day with my Z. Need help finding a good deal on thunderhill, laguna seca or infineon raceway. Anytime Mid March to April. Anyone have ideas which clubs offer great prices and values? Or better yet anyone going during that time ?

Personally, I wouldn't go to Sears (Infineon) or Laguna for my first track event, and would definitely go to Thunderhill. Thunderhill is a lot more open, more forgiving (i.e. a lot less walls than the two others), less technical, and likely a lot cheaper.

I will likely go with TMR to T-hill on 26 Feb, and T-hill with NCRC on all the days they offer events and mix Laguna in there once, maybe twice, during 2010. I plan to make a trip to Buttonwillow early this year as well, likely with Speedventures (.com).

 

I'm signed up for that same event on 2/25. I'll be car #7 in the solo group.

Gonna be there with a couple of my frenz/s2k owners.

 

can't remember the date but there is a private track day at Bwillow for around 50 bucks..! my buddy signed me up already

 

Cool! I hope to see some forum members there. This your first time at Laguna? This would be my first time there so looking forward to it.
