NorCal Autocross
My car goes in for JRZ coil overs and a new prototype sway bar setup this Tuesday. I might get new Brembo caliper and aluminum hat rotors next week!
Chris did you see Toby L is running a Toyota Supra TT in BSP at SD tour? I think that will be the car and driver to beat in BSP. Wish I could run with you guys! I will be fodder for Loti and Porsches in ASP.

I did a writeup of today's activities

summary: if you buy used stuff make sure you get all the damn nuts and bolts necessary for installation!
and of course the time lapse video of all the work

@grant: I don't know Toby but I expect that Tom Berry will be the one kicking everyone's ****

Can you protest me running Nismo and SPC bushings so I get a ruling. LOL!
I'm likely not going to nationals in the car as I have a seat in my FP Boxster. However if the car wins BSP with people who are there I might consider dragging the Z to Lincoln. I actually went to hassle to use stock rear spring perch to stay SP legal so we will see how this washes out.
Its painful trying to stick with SCCA's street prepared rules and make a trackable car. They really make it tough to use commonly available aftermarket parts with some of these rules.

It was a good day today - good to see you guys! Anthony - how did your instructional sessions go today? Andrew - you did great, and your G is awesome! You're a great student - keep at it, and we'll see you out there. Oh, and thanks again for having great tires!
Thankfully we more-or-less stayed dry. See you tomorrow noonish!
Thankfully we more-or-less stayed dry. See you tomorrow noonish! The runs went really well. I was indexed 28 out of 57 which is a big improvement from past events. I also took top D-Stock position by .55s. There were only two of us though
Runs were:
#1 49.24
#2 47.50
#3 46.63
#4 46.20
In lots of water
I improved each run
Also, in fun runs I got a 44.9 in the wet
Thanks Scott, having you there to coach and to answer all of my questions was a huge help and very cool. As for the Star Specs...you're welcome! Glad I could take care of that for you! LOL!

Still I beat a 2010 WRX in the wet. RWD for the win.

Still....it isn't in the wording. If your ruffle some feathers with a strong finish....I'd expect to get protested. I imagine it will be clarified in the next Fastrack, though.
5/15/11. Pre-reg by mail only. Previous award winners get priority until 4/23, then the remaining spots are given - up to 250 - on a first-come basis. The reg form was sent out to UFO members already; I believe it will be available for "general" download at some point soon, but I don't know when. I sent mine in yesterday. I've gone the past few years, but last year was the first time in the 350 - it was fun:
