My car goes in for JRZ coil overs and a new prototype sway bar setup this Tuesday. I might get new Brembo caliper and aluminum hat rotors next week!

Chris did you see Toby L is running a Toyota Supra TT in BSP at SD tour? I think that will be the car and driver to beat in BSP. Wish I could run with you guys! I will be fodder for Loti and Porsches in ASP.

summary: if you buy used stuff make sure you get all the damn nuts and bolts necessary for installation!

and of course the time lapse video of all the work

Here's Toby in his FP car at San Diego last year. He will be very tough guy to beat in BSP if his Supra is anything close to his BMW build. He knows how to build AX cars and his driving is top notch.

No doubt the supra should be fast, but Tom Berry is the man to beat in BSP on the left coast until someone can knock him off.

I would expect to get protested....since the Nismo wasn't specifically classed.

Unfortunately I believe that might be an issue (I won't protest you for it though, unless you pay for the protest fees and want me to do it)

Lol! well if some lame SP driver wants to protest the Nismo which does not have any real advantage in SP let them have at me. I don't think I will podium in SD. If the car podiums then I know I have to appeal one more time to the SEB tribal elders to get the car accepted before Nationals. I did ask them specifically to class the Nismo I think they overlooked this. As in there class changes they dont mention 350Z Nismo either.

I'm likely not going to nationals in the car as I have a seat in my FP Boxster. However if the car wins BSP with people who are there I might consider dragging the Z to Lincoln. I actually went to hassle to use stock rear spring perch to stay SP legal so we will see how this washes out.

Its painful trying to stick with SCCA's street prepared rules and make a trackable car. They really make it tough to use commonly available aftermarket parts with some of these rules.

Thanks Scott, having you there to coach and to answer all of my questions was a huge help and very cool. As for the Star Specs...you're welcome! Glad I could take care of that for you! LOL!

The runs went really well. I was indexed 28 out of 57 which is a big improvement from past events. I also took top D-Stock position by .55s. There were only two of us though Still I beat a 2010 WRX in the wet. RWD for the win.

Runs were:
#1 49.24
#2 47.50
#3 46.63
#4 46.20
In lots of water
I improved each run
Also, in fun runs I got a 44.9 in the wet

Thanks for letting me know the results were up - I was waiting! Good job on improving each run! Is that the WRX you mentioned that you were trying to beat?

No, this was a blue one. The one I'm going for is a silver older model. Either way, I got more points then he did at this event

Spoke to one of the tribal elders who made the ruling. The intent was to include all 370z models.

Still....it isn't in the wording. If your ruffle some feathers with a strong finish....I'd expect to get protested. I imagine it will be clarified in the next Fastrack, though.

I've gone the past few years, but last year was the first time in the 350 - it was fun:
