No need to be afraid of Laguna, but given the elevation changes and the walls, it certainly IS a track that deserves a lot of respect. Maybe you have seen this before, but this is some vid I took (I did not put the vid together though, hence the music). were you driving slower then normal in the video?

 

Well, you can tell there was some traffic, and I was also pacing the 370. The Z has a few more HP, braking, and grip than when this video was taken, but I was still driving it hard. I think we were mostly doing mid 1:40s that day, with some upper 1:40s in traffic. I run low-mid 1:40s now, and still searching for that high 1:30. Laguna is a HP track, but I still chase down the big Vettes. Why do you ask?

 

it was probably just the angle of the camera, the video just made it seem like you were just cruising around the track.

 

Do people get out of the way faster with the green paint?

 

Definitely not cruising. I'm in 5th gear going into T2, and on the limiter in 4th going into T5.
