How do you like your OS GIKEN? I've been looking at those or cusco RS LSDs when I'm ready for one.

SE, when you're ready for diff and suspenion I'll let you co-drive mine at autox since you were looking at the same stuff I have.

It's taking awhile to get used to, the car was gone for so long getting diff installed, now 4 weeks paint job. Best power mod=drive 1999 Sentra for few weeks.

Before/after autox. Rnd 6 first time out

You'd have to pretty much live next to track or trailer it, I'd imagine.. I do see quite a few around though. Probably cause Tesla HQ is a mile away from work. Next time I go there (they sometimes get those food trucks to show up) I'll have to ask an employee.

You don't want a 2 way for grip racing....

I have the Cusco....it works well....but does not operate as smoothly as the OSG.

I know..
That's what confused me, I thought OS GIKEN only made 2 way LSDs? (probably wrong about that)
Which is why I asked.

Would anyone reccomend an oil cooler to use?
What are all you track junkies using in terms of oil coolers?

I was looking at some last night, mainly the GTM one (which is kinda expensive) my friend recommended CX racing oil cooler (which I've never heard of) but is not as expensive as GTM

Can I get input from someone on what's good and what's not?

Z Car Garage makes a few variants that have been track tested. I believe it is similar to the GTM one, but it's likely a little cheaper. I would go with one that has been proven (i.e. no CX Racing Ebay crap). I'm still betting, however, that your oil temps are in check since you are still new to the sport and aren't at WOT or 100% braking most of the time like others are. Just sign up for every event that you can, and if you have the extra coin ($500?) for the oil cooler, then go for it.

Not for HRs
I talked to rob 2 weeks ago about it and he said they could never perfect an oil cooler for 370Zs or HR Zs so they just stopped. The only one he does for HRs is GTM which will be like $550-600 OTD, that's why I'm checking around first. Yeah my oil temps were fine, just don't wanna keep worrying about them on track :/

Then don't worry about it. Change oil before track day. Done.

I ordered mine through BAT, Inc:
http://www.batinc.net/mocal-central.htm

Option 4 + 19 row cooler, and it came out to $380. I bought an aluminum "L" shaped piece, cut it up into two ~6" lengths, and mounted the cooler to the front bumper. The only thing I had to change from the standard parts list is asking for four 90 degree hose fittings vs. two 90 degree and two straight hose fittings.

You can get the Setrab cooler and fittings cheaper at:

Thought I'd tease you with your future Rpf1.

I have the GTM oil cooler, and I also did the installation on King's 350z too. I have been using it for many many track days. No issue and no problem at all. They have 2 sizes, one for street and one for racing. However, if you have HR and stock bumper, the engine will still runs hot. It might be better to get a aftermarket bumper with bigger opening or the racing oil cooler (bigger).

I have OS Giken 1.5 LSD on my car. A very quiet unit, plus you dont have to replace diff. fluid as frequent as Cusco/Nismo/Kaaz since they have special treatment done on the clutch disc. You really get what you pay for on this.

Keep in mind, dont go cheap on the oil cooler. It's for your engine protection. Oil gone, engine gone.

I'm almost certain on a GTM oil cooler. How yards the install? I can't decide whether I wanna try it myself or just take it to ZCG

You could probably spend 150 less and get better fittings, etc....if you just piece it together. It is really very simple.
