Norcal Track Days
scott! got any of those videos hashed out yet? would love to see that rocket laying down 2:08s!
i've only managed to have the time to edit a few vids so far. here's one of mine, two 2:18 laps:
and another person's vid of his focus (really good driver considering it was a rental with A/T and only had Advan A0s mounted) following:
best i could get was a 2:17 with bypass that day. one things for sure, neeeeeeed more poooooooower

Grr, I haven't gotten back to the vids yet. I just need to suck it up, edit them, and upload 'em already.
I did sort through some data. It looks like my best on the RS3s over the cyclone was 2:09.3. I wish we had another session before they closed the cyclone, as I was just starting to get a good feel for the tires at T-hill.
Once they closed the cyclone and we ran the bypass, my best time was 2:03.8. Since I waffled on getting you the $ for the GoPro, I only have vids from when we ran the bypass, but they are still pretty good.

Those were nice laps! I would have liked to take a ride with you - let's try that next time.

I could have put my RaceLogic in your car to take some G-data; maybe even let me do a few laps to see what all that extra whp you have can do with your RS3s! What do you have for springs and shocks?

swift spec Rs
tokico D spec
SPC camber kit/toe bolt
hotchkis sway bars
SPL PRO endlinks
that's about it for suspension.
next time were there ill let you cook a few laps in my car, see what my car can actually do with a good driver.
Depending on how good the brakes are, I bet it can break 2:10 with the bypass. Probably upper 2:teens with the cyclone.
OPP?
brakes go as
RBF600 fluid
carbotech XP10/8 pads
stoptech SS lines
stoptech slotted rotors
so the brakes are pretty decent
i don't even want to be greedy, an extra 10-15hp and i would be a happy camper, haha...
dang sina, you have a pretty good set up. i thought you were literally 100% stock!
scott, i am beyond impressed, now let's see those hyperspeed videos of yours =)

I might be coming in the Z, or I mighhhhttt be coming in a certain miata track car
lol

I'll buy your RS3 tires if you do assuming the pricing is fair.
carbotechs are pretty strongs so wellllllll se
But I agree, with a bit more practice (and some more aggression), I could shed a few more seconds off. Too bad I have to start all over on the new car.
My times at thill had started to tapper off like a logarithmic graph before I sold the Z. Each time I went I was still nipping away at the clock, but not as much as before. I think I've got the lines, but Im still too conservative on the shifts and entry speeds.

$99 is a steal!
