Scotts300,
Thanks for the alignment spec, will try those. I was there last Friday, but not with the 350z due to a bent wheel. I was driving my stock daily E92 M3, I saw you in one of the afternoon sessions, you passed me on the front straight and you were chasing down a black corvette I will definitely find you and say hi next time

SE5spd,
I have signed up for June 6th Thill!
ONE bent wheel? Darn, I wish I knew, I have spares! It may not have been me, the car was doing triple-duty! What run group were you driving in?

There was a small bent on the inside lip. Found out when installing the new RS3 tires. I had 4 track days without knowing the issue. My plan is to have the wheel fixed and continue to use it, it is in a shop called RMS in Fremont right now, should be able to get it back in a couple of days. Maybe later I will get a new wheel and make this one a full size spare. I was in the open group last Friday, it was my first time running open group in NCRC event, I checked the mirror frequently and let the fast guys pass

Both Days: $375 (Early Bird), so price difference is not that big

Confirmed for 6/6. Will be signing up for 7/6 5 mile day soon as well, probably next Friday.

Scott - can I catch a ride along with you at some point on the 6th to see how an experienced person drives a 350z and/or have you do a ride along with me and give me some pointers?

I just have one now! And yours has more mods than my other one! Just don't show up with those butthole base brake calipers! (at the front at least, non-Brembo rears - with the right pads - are just fine).

Who'd you sell the 03 to?

Base brakes ftl but priorities. Overly aggressive pads on St tires make it interesting in braking zone LOL

Specz dude in Florida.

Yeah, need to get the tires hot, and be smooth with the input.

yup, 100 degrees. Goal is fastest lap in the first session. I literally always get my fastest lap in my last session for some reason but goal this time is my first session = fast lap of the day.

370s will be on the sideline overheated (and maybe the HR Z33s too)! Haha.

This will be my first time tracking @ temps above 80 degrees.

Any insight on how our cars will hold up in the 100 degree heat?
Do our cars have overheating problems? Everything in my engine bay is bone stock.

Out of all the 90+ days I tracked my 03, only once did I have a heat-related sideline or failure. That was when the rear main seal failed (likely due to extreme oil temps OR it was just its time). You have a stock 05? You should be fine, IMO. Unwrapped test pipes make some heat, but in my experience the non-HR Zs handle that ok.
