Norcal Track Days
Ya, I wanted to drive my car home that day so I was just cruising the track all day getting use to it and everything else. One thing I don't get is how people are taking T1 at 90-100mph, I was taking it at like 65 lol
I guess I just need to start driving more aggressive.

solidfish, thanks for taking pics, I didn't even see you with a camera.
Good driving - it was very educational riding along in your car. I think I improved quite a bit just seeing how you approached the track. Next time if Scott is there I'm hoping to ride along with him.
Overall a very good day... I was impressed with how well my car seemed to hold up with street tires (albeit pretty wide) and pads, stock shocks, 19" rims etc, etc.
Nice meeting everyone - Macao I saw your car but never with you near it! And who was the Z roadster driver? And the blue Z?

I'm going to what may be an "invite-only" event at Laguna Seca 9/9-11. If anyone is interested, let me know here, and I'll see about extending the invite. Early bird rate is $495 for all 3 days. That is absolutely insane for summer time at Laguna. Events are typically $250-350 per day for that time of year at Laguna.

It exists. My wallet says otherwise.
Something keeps popping up that needs to be fixed.. last week was the throttle position sensor, now its the idle air control valve and the AC still needs fixing. Going in for general maintenance (timing belt/water pump, new starter, other belts being replaced) next week as well.

It's an open call now - but hurry, intermediate is already full for Fri and Sat: https://www.motorsportreg.com/index....297D98936594E0
I didn't see anything about $395, as $495 for 3 days is already a steal. I think Fri/Sat intermediate is already full - two entire months ahead of time!
Zero exp points on track. Don't really need, but its time for rear pads+rotors and I'd rather upgrade. I made the mistake of getting 17" Rpf1's so Stoptech is out of the question.
Saw your car sittin' under a tree last Friday, looking bored.

Dang, your 1st track day ever and you choose Laguna Seca.
You can fit the ST41 kit under 17" wheels - I ran 17s for years before switching to 18s just so that I could run scrub tires more readily. You could also sell the 17" RPF1s you have (and buy the 18" set I have for sale now!).
