dyno anyone?
alright so I think its about time for a dyno for me. I def need to find out if I'm running lean or not. I already talked to the guys at hypersports and they said for 3 runs w/ and A/F readout they charge $90. but they also said that if I can get 5+ guys who also want to get a dyno on the same day, then the price will be around $70. now I'm still gonna check with a couple other places, but I'm betting this might be the best option. oh and they use a dynojet FYI. so would anyone be interested in taking part in this? it would likely be on a sunday.
Depending on the day I may be talked into seeing what my mods add to so far. Word of warning though. Make sure they go to Red line. The guy who did mine didn't know crap about Z's and he quit when my shift light started blinking arround 5300. I still had 1K to go.
I gotta call them up for pricing on tuneing as well whenever my TT finally gets in. DAMN its taking a while. It may just be thatI know its comming and I'm super impatient.

Since the Auto tune is working great now the only thing I have to do is pull timming with the safe guard and slowly add it back. All the functions of the safe guard are awsome and will make a nice safety net. The biggest thing that would need to be done is the injector scaling and thats easy too, -43 to 53%. I would say start at the 43% (rich) and let it auto tune to 12.5 AFR. The same with timming but thats the only one I would do on a dyno. Pull 10 deg, and slowy add until you have a comfortable peak. Also it pulls more timming at the top end. Individual cylinder timming retardation is cool too.

So are we looking at any time soon? I have a trip before the 21st and the 30th.
well, lemmie get a head count and see where we are at. if we've got 5 guys solid then I'll go ahead and call them to see what days are available. are there any preferences in when we do this?
ok so I'm gonna get a couple more quotes for group rates from a few more shops and then we'll set a time and place. plz raise your hand if you're still down for this b/c including myself I've only counted 4 so far.

Does any of the shop that you're looking at have a AWD Dyno? I don't think there's any on this Island, I may be wrong. If there is, and you're going to that dyno facility, count me in. Would like to know what the S4 is putting down stock
