Default Popcharger anyone??

Hey, just found this and remembered someone at the last meet asking about intakes. Seems to be an awesome price for one of the best intakes on the market. Now for me to save up some money for fujita intakes

yah it was more than they charge for shipping to the mainland but it was still quite affordable, for example, i'm paying 250ish to ship a borla TD exhaust, stillen SS headers kinetix high flow cats and a popcharger. didnt seem like too big a deal to me.

damn that's a good shipping price. I was quoted 450 for shipping for a nismo exhaust from west covina. Really thinking about that popcharger, but have been doing reading up on it and some people just prefer the K&N drop-in filter.

everything ive heard is that the stock 06 box with an ARC pipe is the best intake you'll get for our cars, altho all together that set up (if you dont already have an 06) will cost you as much as some exhausts. The popcharger sounds great and performs pretty well esp if you consider how cheap it is.

K&N drop-in filters may clog your MAF due to the oil media... but the best solution is a dry, high flow air filter (such as the Nismo one) that drops into an '06 stock air box. The '06 air box is designed for better air flow.

I'm getting the '06 air box and either the Amuse or ARC pipe.

The pop charger is good, but would breath in hot air in traffic, and I'm not sure how good the filter is...

As for your exhaust problem for shipping... I got mine also from West Covina Nissan back in March... shipped it to my brother in Arizona for free (free shipping to 48 states)... took a vacation, brought it back home on the plane... the saved shipping cost was the cost of my roundtrip plane ticket... heck, it was less. A roundtrip ticket to Phoenix was $298 plus tax.

My JDM Lights, Project Mu pads, Nismo ****, Kics Project R40 lugs, and Nismo exhaust (minus the mid-pipe) are in those boxes and bags. I'm flying early next year to pick up the air box, intake pipe, and maybe a Varis radiator shroud... Screw shipping to Hawaii... take a vacation! I've chronicled this a million times, and I'm surprised no ones tried it. BTW, good luck though getting the mid pipe on the plane.

honestly id stick with the pop charger just by the little cutout thinggy. i forget why longer piping is more bad just from memory something to do with a drop in pressure? with the cut out thinggy you get the best of both worlds. short piping and cold air flowing through. and it saves a lot of money ;-)

The cheapest the pipe is at is Performance Nissan... hey dropped from 299 to $285.
http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=5971

Perforamance Nissan also sells OEM stock parts for cheap. I always try to get OEM parts from them. But West Covina is the cheapest when it comes to Nismo USA goods.
Performance Nissan had them for $99 last I checked.

All you need are the lights and ballasts. You can search for "Hella" ballasts, as they are the highest quality ballasts you can get... they are on par with the OEM ballasts, but a cheaper alternative than OEM. A ballast just limits the current to the bulbs.

Someone here was selling their '06 headlights...

installing my plennum was a pita. i dont really pay attention thats why. lol. the little rubber by the oil filler cap got stuck between the plennum. but just make sure you check what the suggested torque settings are. because im sure kamu can chime in on this. but when he tried to take my plennum apart. alot of my bolts snapped.
