Default I definitely need new tires... where should I go?

Hey guys so I was wondering if any of you have any recommendations on a set of new tires such as brand and model name/style, and where should I go to get a good deal/good work and won't damage my rims.

I currently have a set of 19" Enkei RP03's, 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 or 19x10 rear, I'm thinking about 255/35/19 fronts and 285/35/19 rears.

I was wondering if you guys have any advice for me?

Thanks!

Depends on what your budget is? Is it for looks or performance (or both)? 255/285 are average sizes..are you dropped? What offsets are you running? You may need fender work such as rolling or cutting.

I get my tires from Tire Rack...I never buy them locally due to lack of selection and being overpriced most of the time.

Hmm i think you misunderstand my purpose for asking these questions here in our pacific forum. I ask things about where to get tires locally, or where to paint my car locally... I've done a decent amount of search and that's why I came up with 255 and 285 as my tire sizes.

I know you already have a local source, but +1 on Tire Rack. They seem to have the most reasonable prices for new tires and related equipment.

tire rack shipping is about 2-3 days. I'd do your research like Jorge recommended before buying locally if you really care about you tires and traction. We have some local guys fishtailing all over the place because local distributors just slapped on a random pair.

Hmmm....I think I completely understood your request....you may have misunderstood my reply As you can see below, I did a quick 5 minute search and came up with many threads similiar to yours with many responses that would help answer your question....and again all LOCALSo, to make your search easiar you can either check out all these links I reposted for you, you can create an account on forumshawaii.net if you don't have one already (Forumshawaii=local forums with LOCAL vendors, events, shops, etc), or you can save a bunch of money on tires and go with AJ's suggestions tirerack or another online source.....Purchasing tires LOCAL is very over priced due to shipping, taxes, middleman charges, etc.... Oh **** lol sorry I think I did misunderstand your reply haha.. I thought you wanted me to search this entire site for tire sizing and what is compatible or
not.. Didn't think you meant to search the pacific section.. Oops :/

I did not know that it's only 2-3 ish days for tires from tirerack to get here, maybe I can wait for that.

Hey thanks guys for the help, sorry for misunderstanding lol

I'm gonna go down to auto customs to talk about tires tomorrow, but I just have a few other thoughts and wanted some opinions...

Does anyone have any feedback/advice on costco Bridgestone Potenza tires?

I'm looking at a set of Potenza RE760 Sport.. :P

Also, what about Good Year?

I'm looking at some Eagle F1 All Season, and maybe some Eagle F1 Asymmetric if the total price doesn't kill me..

My brother had Eagle F1's on his GTO, and I know a couple people that have run them on their Z's. EXPENSIVE!! but really good tires...

Bridgestones are Bridgestones, regardless of where you get them from. I personally don't care for them, cuz they're pricey as well, but you can't go wrong with them.

Just my

I personally got Nitto NT555 Extremes and called it a day... lol

tirerack

hankook roughly $850 shipped ang are great tires

EDIT:

if you went with tirerack from the time you started this thread you would of had them....

plus $850 is meaty tires that I'm going with if you just wanted stock sizes would be way cheaper...
