No, That is not what I meant even though it might have sounded that way. Adding more timing up top WILL bring up the HP curve, but there are many things involved for an engine to make power (hp) all the way to redline, such as: intake manifold design, cam phasing, cams, throttle body, etc.

So increasing timing ALONE will not make the car make power all the way to redline, but it does explain why the top end on this run is lower than usual.

If you continued the 20psi run, it looks like at 8000 rpms it'd be at around 350-400 tq which is a huge drop from 742 tq @ 5100 rpms

Not only that, but I'd be willing to be the APS extreme turbos are at their most efficient around the 4000-6000rpm range, so it's going to be a fighting battle to keep the tq flat from 6000-8000 rpms. I think the turbos would have to be switched to something bigger to really flatten up the top end...
We weren't refering to the TQ curve as that will fall regardless, it will never be flat to redline, but rather we were talking about making the hp curve increase all the way to redline with further modification and tuning.

1) Come on you don't trust us?
1) No time
3) Our dyno cannot be tampered with or "adjusted" to read any different. On a Dynojet it is what it is. You can either choose STD corretion or SAE correction, thats it!. Which is why a Dynojet is the best when comparing power over the internet. No AIT correction, elevation correction, etc. that can lead to a false dyno reading as see on other dynometers such as but not limited to: dynapacks, dyno dynamics dynos, etc.

Congrats on the numbers, definitely a step in the right direction for FI 350z's. Now I know where I want my 350 to be.

no problem

keep up the good work!

I'm probably going to go with the 4.24 stroker kit sometime down the road when I build the engine

Great job guys. I really like you're attitude towards tuning and making power on the Z. Next time I need a tune, I'll be stopping by.

LOL at all the Supra references.

Sam, would you be able to post the boost curves for each of these runs? I can infer a lot from the posted dynos but I'd love to see the boost curves... Thanks
