great numbers, is the meth injected directly into the side of the plenum vs the intake pipe?
The meth is injected into the intake pipe before the TB. The plenum is tapped for the HKS air inlet sensor, as Phunk mentioned.
sharif, did he have to relocate the wastegates on the greddy tt to run that much boost?
Joe is running the AAM 3 inch downpipes with dumps. For this power level, you dont HAVE to relocate the wastegates, but you should try running a 3 inch downipe.
Are the 18g's running out of its efficency range?
They are getting close to their max efficiency range. On my car, we stopped making power after 19.5psi, and on Brent's old engine...about 21psi. After 19psi, each psi increase in boost delivers less and less power. Backpressure becomes an issue as well, through these tiny exhaust housings.

Thanks for the comments, guys.

The kit was something that Joe purchased from Alky Control.

Great numbers Sharif. Quick question though, what is the power range that you would insist on sleeving a block on a daily driver? I am looking into engine packages and wanted to stay in the 550 - 600 whp range on a daily basis on 93 octane and thought that a sleeved block would be required but from the mods list, this block is not sleeved. Anyone else can voice there opinion as well.

Thanks,
Mike

Rome and i were doing some research.. and we noticed that the efficiency on the 18G's were 19.5 PSI and the 20G's were 20-21 PSI.. which i couldn't understand why would someone upgrade to 20G's for 2 to 3 more PSI.. now not 25G?

Nobody really knows the answer to this question, becuase we have yet to see any stock cylinder wall failures at high power levels. The general community is starting to believe the the stock sleeves can take quite a bit more power than previously thought. My personal opinion, is that the limits of the stock sleeves will exceed the limits of the current crop of TT kits on the market at about 600-700whp, but only time will tell. The stock sleeves have some definate cooling advantages as well, particularly for those that road race/track day their cars.

But his engine was only making about 570whp on ZcarGarage's dynojet. Remember, that Scott's Performance Dyno numbers were utter BS.

Very nice post. Nice to see you backing the unsleeved motors. IMHO, the extra heat, machine work, cost, and risk of sinking with sleeving this motor just isn't worth it. At least not until we start seeing motors failing because of a compromised cylinder wall

I think the consensus is that his car wasn't as 'bad-@ss' as first thought. SP numbers don't hold much clout around these parts any more

And in regards to the numbers at hand -> 600+ = pure insanity.... congrats

NIIIICE

Great car and great tune. 600+whp is nasty fast and I'm sure he's happy with the results. Congrats to all involved.

I was amazed also at how much fuel I was able to pull to get the A/F back to where it was . I havent pulled much timing yet due to the lack of a good EMS yet
