Umm, with some racing fuel you (we) might be able to surpass his mid boost setting . That high boost result is really pretty d@mn high for a DD with no correction.

Yeah. I'm interested in seeing more info on the build like the engine components (I'm assuming it's sleeved), and the fuel system.

I am sure wiht the right mods you can.

Fuel system is the single Walbro, with Altered Story Fuel return, with RC1000.

I am on my way to go pick her up, I will have Sharif post the DJ dyno runs sometime tonight.

No sleeves!
I belive this thing will hold up well at theses power levels without sleeves.

Julain hit it on the head they are GT28/30 BB.
As far as flow charts?? You got me.
I thought I would chance it and try something new, for my self and for a little RD for the forum.
I think once we get more fuel pressure and pray that the Cosworth plenum is worth a $hit, we might see numbers go up.

The high boost dyno numbers are just for dyno queen / track purpose only.
Close to 700whp on the street... Right! maybe on a 4th gear roll on.

Congratulations Sharif!

This is definitely an accomplishment, looks like you set the record for most RWHP out of a single walbro pump! If you made 680rwhp uncorrected DD ( probably over 700rwhp DJ) then you beat the 620rwhp Jotech was able to make out of a single walbro fuel pump on their DJ. What was the fuel pressure? I am eager to learn your secrets

Nice work

Sharif,

Just curious... Do you know if JWT is eventually going to make a complete 850bb kit, including an upgraded FMIC, fuel system, etc. to compete against the APS Extreme kit? Or are they just offering the upgraded turbos?

Nice build BTW. I really like how you integrated the Greddy FMIC, custom piping, and dual intakes. I never liked the look of the single intake on the JWT kit.

Nice job, Forged. I know Louie has been patiently waiting with a ton of anticipation for his car.

Eagletangreen (L), glad to hear your car is done. This is only the fourth JWT 850 BB TT kit installed to date. Glad you guys were able to get it, and get it installed.

We are still working on some JWT TT experimental cams with Jim and Clark, and hopefully once they are installed we will see more than the 749WHP @20.1 psi mark we made on the Dyna Pack with these JWT 850BB's (GT3071's), but more importantly we are hoping to get more usable power out of this set up (power under the curve) for the track. If we still have the power delay problems (lag), will probably go back to the 700BB's, Just to make more usable power with less lag. (road race cars hate turbo lag) Hahaha

Again great work guys, and congrats to all of you on the project. Hope to see, (and possibly drive this car soon). Talk to you soon Louie............

The manifold pressure is there...but not the mass of air.
We've tried some fairly high duration camshafts, and still see the same issue.

The turbochargers are basically a GT28xx stuffed with GT30 wheels and machined accordingly. I dont have all the specs on the turbos, but I can ask Jim.

Thanks for the comments.
Wasn't there someone on here that swapped in a TB housing/butterfly and intake tube from a Lightning (like 4" diameter) a couple months ago? Thought I read that somewhere...
