The ancilliary mods for the car, brakes, suspension, exhaust, etc... are they all new for the G37 and the updated platform? Or are they G35 parts that were made to fit? The BBK looks like a 15/14 combo and I think StopTech had a kit like that in the works for the G37, that's what makes me ask.

Thanks everyone for the compliments, it was a lot of hard work to get this car done and we do appreciate the kind words.

We are not big fans of the rims either, the ones that were suppose to be on the car ( Volk 20in Gram Lights ) did not fit due to incorrect offsets so they had to air freight these in from Japan. You can't pick and choose when you are being sponsored

As far as the brakes, this IS the kit Stoptech had in development for the G37, fitment is perfect. It is a 15" Front Rotors w/6 Piston caliper and 14" Rear rotor w/ 4 Piston Caliper.

The exhaust is a GReddy EVO TT for a G35 coupe that did bolt up with the replacement of the rear sway bar, nothing was cut, or modified.

The suspension is TEIN S. Tech springs for a G35 Coupe.

Holy hell....that's beautiful!

Question: Why did you go with the FCon instead of the MoTec?

As we posted initially we wanted to test both the MoTeC and the FCon VPro on this new platform. We had the car running initially on the MoTeC and we decided to test/use the FCon VPro due to our time restraints since we have done 100's of FCon's and not as many MoTeC systems.

Thanks for answering my other questions, George. Is the harness for the EMS the same? Or did you have to fabricate something? I thought I had remember reading somewhere that the plug-in harnesses had changes on the 07 Z, G35 Sedan and G37, so existing EMS were incompatible.

Both the FCon and the MoTeC had to be hard-wired in order to work, meaining there is no plug and play harness ( yet ) we are in the process of developing a plug and play harness for the MoTeC and FCon system for the 07 & up VQ engines.

Let me just mention that getting the car to run on both systems was no picnic.

That's what I thought. I can only imagine the issues you had to figure out and the ensuing headaches you went through for that one.

George

You have just answered my prayers. Since I found out that the GTR will not be available in a standard manual tranny I just went out a bought a new G37. Please let us know when the kit will be available for purchase.
