Sam,

Any estimate on how much the 4.5L stroker kit is gonna cost? Will it be comparable in price to the 4.2L stroker kits for the VQ3535DE motors?

Also when is your website gonna be finished????? I mean for such an amazing company its suprising that your website is not even up and running.

Post #96? There's no mention of the website and the price Sam quotes I believe is the cost of a stock VQ37VHR longblock, not a built 4.5L.

For such an amazing company there will be an amazing website, only problem is that amazing things do take time.

Stay Tuned.

But I didn't think about the deck height & hood clearance issues for the G35. It is obvious enough in the '07 Z's with the new hood bulge and guys with Z's should be able to easily swap an '07 hood. So are us G35 coupe guys screwed? The only G35 hood I know of that offers additional clearance is the Stillen hood. Also, I just invested in a Top Secret carbon fiber hood, which should be here within a few weeks. I love the look of that hood and I'd hate to have to change it out for something else.
The hood issue is a very minor problem, the reason we knew that is because we tried to put a 06 after market hood on a 07 model and the fitment was not even close. If you do a VHR swap and it is successful the hood will be the least of our problems.

No doubt the hood issue is very minor in relation to the other challenges involved in doing a VHR swap! ...But trying to get a VHR motor to fit under my Top Secret hood is still a concern for me. Anyways, sorry for taking your thread OT. I couldn't help but think of the possibilities/implications of your R&D with this new motor and I would love to put one in my G!

So... Care to share what your power goals/estimates are with this G37 project, or are you keeping it a secret until it is unveiled at SEMA?

+2 i mean u could use an stock 07 hood modified to fit..or something similar..but that is a "little thing" actually compared to how hard it is to get everything else to work.

i guess just so you get the idea... the motec is going to be about 8-9k alone most likely

Sam's got a good section of his mega garage dedicated to crate motors. Its incredible. They're all over the place.

Is the front knuckle and hub assembly the same?

If they have finally made a stronger hub, then this will be nice for the track guys to get the new knuckle and hub swapped out, assuming geometry hasn't changed on the front suspension.

Already looked into it.
They are totally redesigned and not compatible with the Z33/V35 platform.

I'm surprised nobody has chimed in about this question from my last post, since it hasn't been answered yet!!!

So Sam, am I correct in assuming it is the latter?

The turbos support around 400bhp each so that should give you an idea.
