just from this(in case you missed it) you can tell your 100mph to 170mph is way off

Why did you take your tn run video of your Zig... that was one of my favourites videos of your runs
2 questions..
#1 is one of those graphs a Supra? If so which one?
#2 what gear is that in?Cause my car dynos in 5th gear and hits over 160mph with the new rear in it..

Ok that was actually 3 questions..

#1 - Guess...
#2 - Dynoing in 5th gear will make the turbo appear to spool faster under more load, so it doesn't give you an accurate indication compared to everyone else. That is why everyone needs to use a standard when they dyno if you want to get usable information.

The standard in most other shops is 5th gear, the 6mt's 1-1 ratio..Besides, 4th gear, I cant keep the car on the dyno..

This kit is probably meant for an all out drag car, so the lag probably won't matter much. But still, maybe throw in some nitrous to help the turbo spool would be good.

The lag isn't bad at all, and is a non-issue for someone buying this kit for it's intended purpose.

My apologies... I was thinking theat 4th was the 1 to1... you are correct. I do believe I remember them saying they were dynoing in 4th gear.

Not really that much lag. But that's why PowerLab is offering different stages for their kit. The ability to choose, fit, and easily swap different turbos is one of the things that makes the PowerLab kit so awesome IMO. This 76S turbo setup isn't for everyone. It's great for a drag setup/highway monster akin to the big turbo Supras. If you want quicker response for a daily driver street setup or for tracking on a road course, then the Stage 1 kit with the GT35R (shown to be capable of 650whp) is for you!!! If you want a bit more power, then go with the Stage 1.5 with the GT37R.

When you have gone as big as you can go with a single, you have to move to a twin to move more air, but it WILL be have more lag.
You have this backwards. The twins will always spool faster becasue it is easiere to overcome the lower inertia of the smaller wheels. The "problem" is you aren't going to get "exatly" the same size or hlk size.

For the guys worring about lag, Just run it in a 71gts or a 74gts if ~800whp isn't good enough.
Is this with the "H" cover and the .81 turbine housing?

No gear will give you the same load as the street, so the information isn't all that useful anyways.
