I feel your pain man, the more modding, the more chances of these freak occurances happening. Its all part of this game, and not even having the car for months at a time makes you want to get out of it all....

^how much longer for you if you don't mind my asking.

Edit: Talk like this makes me a little scared/wary of the mods I want to do to my car...

I meant no insult and I'm most definitely not trying to start anything, but I'm very interested in getting feedback from the guys (like you) who are HEAVILY modified and who actually use your cars. Basically I'm just trying to learn from other peoples experiences/mistakes. PM me if you wish, like I said, I'm very interested.

There are no guarantees when you push for the leading edge of performance. A shop that backs up their work is all you can ask for. Dil, I'm sure FP will get it worked out. Sucks that you have to wait. Think about flying down to pick it up and drive straight up to ZdayZ. There may be a good sized caravan headed up - will be loads of fun.

Clutchmasters is not one I see a lot of folks running in Z/Gs - just wondering if other people have experience with this brand...

Well it's batting .333, not bad for baseball, but not too hot for clutches!

I did a quick search around the 'net and seems many people are happy with it, but I didn't see anyone with whp anywhere close to was Dil's car is putting down.

The Clutch is fine its not the problem... That is a high performance clutch (full race).... The car it self was about 95% finished when I received it. There are other small issues that Sharif forgot to take care off. But the bottom line is, another 2-3 weeks downtime and more money (which I have none of).

I never even got a chance to drive the fukin car... , and now I have to somehow come up with another 1500.00. It just doesn't seem fair...

Dilsher, you need to calm down please.

You car is being picked up tomorrow, and for the record, the reason we are having this issue is because we used the parts YOU wanted to use...against our recommendation. I never wanted to use that clutch.

So please stop posting this crap on the boards...I am getting tired of it!!

I wouldn't be so quick to say what is or is not the problem - at this point, no one knows, and it seems everyones best guesses have not proven true. It's unfortunate that there isn't someone there to help go through a checklist of stuff, but thankfully you've got a shop that cares about its customers standing behind you. While it's an unfortunately situation, trust me when I tell you that you could throw a rock and find a shop that wouldn't even take your phone call after having a problem with a part they didn't get you. Service like the shops on this board offer are frankly the exception, not the rule in this industry. You're in good hands with Sharif, and I am sure that the problem will be solved in no time, and you'll remember this as only being an unfortunate slight bump in the road. Hopefully the problem is sorted out quickly, with minimal downtime and expense and you'll be enjoying your new toy soon!

Couple more weeks Dil - the car will be perfect - and the lot of us will have a blast driving up to ZdayZ with the FP crew. Hang in there man. Look at the bright side, you won't have to drive through all those corn fields in Indiana around a bunch of slowwww cars and nasty cops to get there! 6 radar detectors and laser jammers are better than 1
